Here, we will visit the sites made famous by the historic military clash during the Second Punic War, on August 2nd, 216 BC. We’ll explore the medieval citadel, the archaeological village, and all the "accessory" sites like the Masseria Canne, the Menhir, and the small rail station. Along the way, there will be a chance to enjoy a tasting of extra virgin olive oil produced by the Terre Balestrucci farm. At the end of the tasting, participants will receive a small gift.
