I was really disappointed with this tour.
I booked and paid for the 5:00 p.m. English tour, but the day before I received a message saying it would now start at 3:00 p.m. While I understand that schedules can sometimes change, having less than 24 hours' notice meant I had to rearrange my plans for the day.
Then, when the tour started, I discovered it was actually a bilingual tour, despite booking and paying for an English-only experience. The guide spoke in Italian first at every stop before repeating everything in English, which made the tour feel slow and less engaging.
The guide also never introduced herself, and overall the commentary wasn't very informative. I expected a much more organized and engaging experience from a paid walking tour.
I've been on several free walking tours in other cities that were significantly better than this one. Unfortunately, this experience didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Great informative, friendly walk around the old town. Didn't feel rushed. Anna our guide was a really lovely girl and we had fresh warm focaccia, yum! Definitely recommend

Tour guide is relatively new to the job. We were surprised there was no general info about Bari. Also, we passed some major Roman ruins, but there was no explanation at all. The young guide is friendly but the tour felt very basic.

This was a comprehensive walking tour of Bari. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing information about Bari. She was able to communicate fluently in English. We were able to see all the sights and learn about them . The food tasting ( focaccia Barese) was an amazing treat during the tour. The only thing she could probably adjust was to walk a little bit slower because not everyone can walk the same speed as her especially on the busiest streets. We also had a hard time finding the meeting spot. The address mentioned on the meeting point was confusing. We almost missed the tour in spite of being in the vicinity 30 minutes before the start of the tour.

Very poor value for money, I do not recommend this trip. The guide was very pleasant but we literally walked between a few sites and heard perhaps one or two sentences at each site. So little information was imparted. It was the most bizarre guided "tour" that I have ever joined. Very over priced. The ice cream stop was almost as if they were trying to fill the time.

Very informative, and our guide Valeria was wonderful. Gave us plenty of time to explore. Meeting spot was easy to find. A nice treat to stop for a gelato halfway through! Lovely experience.

The walking tour was good but is a generic offer and all of the companies selling tours use the same people, therefore quite a few people in the group. Barbara was actually very good but I'm sorry I have to give the a very average rating because of the booking company.
You should know that the website is not very clear on the costs. The front page does not show what the real cost is. It is from. And the unit cost dollar type(like US or euro) is not clear and it does not show you that until the end and if you don't notice your costs can be much more than a cost you were expecting. I called them just 5 minutes after booking explaining I did notice the US dollar and they wouldn't do anything about it so the two are was probably $30 a head more than the other sites which is a lot considering with they use the same tour company. It ended up being their loss because we had another three and a half weeks and 5 tour/activities in Italy visiting many towns and we did not use viator one more time. We made sure we used alternative sites so it cost Viator a lot more business than fixing my issue or offerring a refund. I will never use them again purely because of the experience that I had so if you're reading this Viator, you really should review your customer service.

Our tour guide Alessia was amazing!! We enjoyed seeing all the older historical sites and the famous focaccia bread! We absolutely recommend on first day in Bari so you can have all the good information!

We did this tour on a Saturday. It was easy to find the meeting sport and check in for our tour. There are several cafes close so you have a spot to enjoy a drink while you wait.
Our guide was informative and able to answer questions the group asked. Hit all the highlights of Bari and gave us a good idea where to visit on our own later

Focused on old Bari and the history of the town. Quick overview of the new part of Bari. Can go as quickly or as slowly as needed. Great guide and allows you many opportunities to visit some highlighted areas at your leisure. Great tour. Exceptional guidance.

Our guide (Federica) was very friendly! The explanations (in English and Italian) were very informative and interesting.
I enjoyed the tour a lot. We got to visit and see many important monuments. Free time was provided so that we could enter the Basilica of Saint Nicholas by ourselves.
2 things to keep in mind:
1. Sometimes, they will provide a free piece of Focaccia Barese instead of free gelato (especially in winter). This happened with our tour. The Focaccia Barese was delicious nonetheless!
2. The meeting place is a bit difficult to find. Try to arrive early so that you can find the spot on time.

super nice tour with a great tour guide, Alessia. She was super informed and entertaining. Beyond that the city itself is incredibly beautiful with a rich history. My favourite part was the big church we got to go inside.
