Plan to eat a lot of delicious food. Our guide took us through uncrowded streets to unique places. We received historical information along the way. Highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful street food walking tour in Bari with our guide, Alessia. She was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about Bari’s history and culture. We loved that the tour wasn’t just about the food; Alessia showed us so many interesting sites and gave us a much better appreciation for the city.
And the food was amazing! We stopped at four different places and had the chance to try a great variety of local specialties. Come hungry—the portions were very generous and by the end we were almost too full!
This was such a fun way to experience Bari, combining great food, history, and a walk through the city with a wonderful guide. We would definitely recommend the tour, and especially Alessia!
Oh, and we met many wonderful people and got excellent resturant recommendations!
Nicholas was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local food scene as well as the history.
He’s a local so it brought and insiders perspective which was very interesting.
He’s involved in the community and it shows as locals frequently stopped to say hello.
All stops were at mom/pop family run restaurants which is always a plus.

We had such an amazing tour of Bari yesterday with Emanuela! She was incredibly warm and welcoming, and made the whole experience feel so personal and enjoyable. She shared fascinating history and context about the city, along with great tips and recommendations that we really appreciated.

I had been hearing so much about the foods that Bari is known for but wanted to make sure we experienced the best examples. Paola made sure that happened. We also got some great bits of history as we went along. This tour is a great way to make sure you get the full taste of Bari!
Lots of food/bread specialties. Only eat half. You will be full. Nicholas was great. Fun and informative.
Amazing!!!! Tour guide Nicholas was funny, intelligent and factual about Bari as he grew up there. He only took us to family owned places that have been around for generations! The food was excellent and the tour made accommodations for a few in my family, including myself, that were vegan. That was very appreciated! The panzerotti and gelato are not to be missed. All of Nicholas's stories about childhood and each part of Bari were SO interesting. Take this tour! You will not regret it!
Great experience with a local tour guide. Nicholas was great. He fed us very well We learned how to find the best gelato. It is a lot of walking over uneven stone surfaces but mostly flat. We we delayed in meeting up with the group as we couldn’t find the meeting point. Taxi dropped us at wrong location but caught up. Highly recommend
You end up eating alot and the most Amazing food! Our guide Nicholas was young and energetic taking us through small alleys of Bari Vecchia and also giving us some history! Nicholas provided us every item in our hands and made sure we are hydrated as well! He took us to eat the local food ehich might bot be touristy but still served fresh and tasty. The tour felt complete and we end our day either a delicious cup of Gelato! I would recommend this tour to all newbies like me who would like to try food like a local!
It’s been 2 days since we did this tour and we are still talking about it. It’s not just an incredible food tour, our guide Nicholas shared captivating stories from the heart of growing up in this city and how it has changed and become more accessible for tourists. We ate some of the best food we’ve ever tasted and he shared recommendations we visited the following day. I’m so grateful we found this tour, come with an empty stomach as you will leave with a full stomach and heart. 10/10 it’s a must do.
Nicholas, our guide was fantastic. He gave us a good overview of the culture of the history and obviously the food provided great recommendations and where to eat and where to go and the overall tour wasn’t too long. I’m not too short. It was perfect. I would definitely recommend it.
This was the perfect way to explore Bari! We were only briefly there and wanted to make sure we got some good food while also learning about the history of the city. This tour was the perfect way to do it! The food was delicious (and very filling), the stories that Nicholas, our guide, told were interesting and exciting, and we were pleased that we were able to enjoy drinks along the way. Anyone visiting Bari will enjoy this tour!
It was really a good tour! Lots of interesting, cultural foods and lots of historical information from the guide! Nicholas was great!
We didn’t have the best experience on this tour. We waited around 2 hours before we got our first bite and missed some promised stops on the tour. We’ve taken food tours around the world so we have a general idea of how they work (guide tells restaurant number of people ahead of time). We ended up waiting outside almost every restaurant for ~45 min and didn’t have our first bite of food until almost 9 pm (tour started 6:30). Pasta Nonnas had already packed up for the night by the time we made it to their spot, around 10pm. Disappointing and spent a lot of time waiting around, hungry.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the experience.
That said, we need to clarify an important point: it would not be possible to wait two hours for the first tasting, as our tour is a 3-hour experience and is structured so that the first food stop takes place well within the opening portion of the itinerary. The pacing is designed so that guests begin sampling food early in the tour, rather than at the end of the first hour, let alone after two hours.
We also do not recognise the sequence of delays described, including the extended waiting times at each stop and the issue with Pasta Nonnas, as this is not consistent with how the tour is scheduled and Pasta Nonnas is not a venues where we go to.
We appreciate your feedback and will still review the situation internally to ensure everything ran as expected on the day.

Lots of food and great info! Come hungry as you receive full servings of everything - so it’s a lot of very good food. Nicholas is very knowledgeable and loves the city he grew up in and it shows in his delivery of the tour. Well worth it!

Lots of delicious food, and fascinating information about the city's history and culture. Very fun to try the octopus sandwich! (it tasted like shrimp--surprisingly very good). Be sure to come hungry; there's a wide variety of Italian foods in large quantities. And be prepared to walk quite a distance.
Nikolas was a wonderful guide. We strolled through Old Town Bari, Italy and learned history and culture while also visiting 4 food shops/restaurants. We had the best focaccia ever! Highly recommend this tour!

Nicholas was a good guide and took us into some of the less traveled alleys in the old town. Be prepared the food and beverage offerings are large! We had a great time!

ALESSIA Was phenomenal. She took us to only her favorite places and included so much information about Bari! She was delightful host to her beautiful city and the food choices were delicious and plentiful.
Giuseppe was knowledgeable and entertaining. He balanced history with the food and walking well. The amount of food was perfect for a nice lunch.
You will not be disappointed. We did the 6:30 tour and we ate enough to satisfy our dinner time hunger. Our guide Giuseppe was great. He was very personable and took the time to answer any questions the group had. I definately recommend this tour.
Nicholas was amazing! He carefully curated our food tastings and all were delicious. He has a clear love for Bari and shared personal stories and provided historical context. Highly recommended!!
We went to four sandwich stops (focacia, panzerotti, and octopus) and one Gelato stop, and at each stop we waited in line. While the food was great we were provided little history of the items and their place in local lore. With only 8 people in the group and most lagging behind it was difficult to hear what the guide was saying. The first two items were bread and by the time we got to the third stop, octopus sandwiches, no one e wanted to eat. Without more history of the items it.could have been easily done on our own.

Very informative tour! It was as much a historical tour as it was a food tour. And the food we had was GREAT! Wonderful experience, Enzo was a great host with a host of local knowledge.
