This was fun, our guide was very friendly and enjoyed giving us a tour. The caves were lovely and had we gone when the sun was shining inside, the hue would’ve been amazing! Still beautiful though and would highly recommend

Boat captain was great! Very nice, r plainer each cave. I think Viator should inform people how far from town center it is.

This tour is cool of the caves but do it with another company - the guide/boat captain was awful. We were crammed in and it was like pulling teeth asking for water. Our tour was just over an hour because we left late and came back fast. We got to swim for like 5 minutes. Do this adventure but with any other company.

Such a fun experience. Our guide was so funny and made it fun! Only complaint was it was a bit crowded on the boat- luckily we sat with wonderful people. Best way to see the area!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the trip really enjoyable. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The only downside was that we hadn’t realised the boat pick-up point was outside Polignano a Mare town itself. This meant we had to take a taxi to the departure location, which was a little inconvenient. It would have been helpful if this had been made clearer when booking.

Travelers should know that the place of the boats are a little far away, just in case you want to go there walking and the way is not clearly indicated. The experience didn't like very much I expect more than it was for the price I paid.

This was a very disappointing experience. The boat captain who led the tour did not speak any English. He only spoke to the Italian guests, leaving the rest of us without any explanations.
Halfway through the trip, the Coast Guard stopped our boat. Apparently, there was an issue with his permits or licenses. After that, he drove the boat at an inconsiderately high speed and, in fact, did not complete the tour as advertised.
No one apologized or gave us any explanation about what had happened. Overall, it was a very poor experience and, honestly, it felt quite disrespectful.

This was a lot of fun--we loved the caves, playlist, and swimming! Note that the meeting point is not in Bari, and you will need to arrange your own transportation to Polignano a Mare.

Pleasant trip for our family with grottes exploring and swimming in a harbor. The beaches were occupied on Sunday, so we made a decision to swim from a boat :)

First I I was to say a boat tour in polignano is a must do while visiting. I just wouldn’t use this company again. I want to say I did contact them directly before writing this review to allow them to rectify the situation and I did not receive a response- it’s been over a week.
1. Our tour initially started on time. We left the dock and then our captain was told to come back and pick up two guest who were late. All together this cut into our tour by about 15 minutes.
2. Then we were pulled over by the police for being over capacity.
3. Our captain didn’t have the proper papers and we were held up by this. They allowed us to continue our tour after this delay.
4. We sped through our tour and barely had time for a swim.
5. We had to dock at a gas station for the captain to then run papers into the police. We sat here for another 10 + minutes.
With all the delays somehow we still finished our tour in 87 minutes.
I’m more disappointed that they did not respond to me personally. This is most likely a once in a lifetime trip for most people. I will likely never get this experience again and it was rushed and there was no concern for this. This company clearly doesn’t care about each individual experience and only care about mass numbers. It’s a bummer I have to write such a negative review but I want to make sure all are aware of this company and avoid it. Do a boat trip in Polignano with another company.

For 30 years, our company has been a benchmark for boat tours in Polignano a Mare, operating under strict maritime regulations. All our licenses, numbers of passengers allowed, and safety certificates are public and fully compliant with the law.
To address your points with facts:
The Police Check: The authorities performed a standard, routine random check. The claim that we were stopped for 'overcapacity' or 'missing documents' is entirely false. Had there been any irregularity, the police would have immediately suspended the tour and fined the company. Instead, after verifying our perfectly legal position, they cleared us to continue.
Tour Duration: You explicitly state that the tour lasted 87 minutes. This confirms that despite a mandatory public safety check, you received the full experience, as our standard tours are scheduled for 90 minutes.
Our Response: We do not ignore legitimate feedback, but we reject instrumental complaints aimed at obtaining refunds through false allegations.
Transforming a regular, legal security check into an accusation of administrative non-compliance constitutes defamation. We officially invite you to remove this review, as we are fully prepared to protect our 30-year professional reputation through legal channels."
This is truly the best way to experience Polignano a Mare! Our guide Nicolas was incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable with his great sense of humor. He was fantastic from start to finish. Absolutely worth it!

Highly recommended tour, Dorino was our captain and all of his team was amazing from check in to drop off. Rafaela was full of knowledge during tour. If you ask him for the Bluetooth speaker for music…you may see some of his dance moves too

WOW THIS TOUR WAS FANTASTIC! First of all the music played on the boat was amazing and then the operator of the boat let us swim a little bit towards the end and poured us a glass of prosecco, the cave tour was awesome and the small bits of history described by the tour guide was amazing

The boat ride was good and the captain was fun. Viator listed the trip with a 10 person max and we had 15 which meant we were a bit crammed. The boat was also avoiding the police (since there was a 10 person max for the boat) which meant they offered swimming in a different location than usual. There was also no diving or snorkeling offered.
