Two wonderful places in one tour. Make sure you book the fully guided tour options - the Alberobello tour in particular is absolutely brilliant with one of the best tour guides we've ever had. You really will get the most out of it with a guide. Matera too is fascinating and the guide here was also just excellent. It's a long day - but well worth it!

Organised bus tour was a very convenient way to see Alberobello and Matera in a single day, compared with trying to get to these places ourselves by public transport. The guided tour in Matera was excellent, the audio guide for Alberobello requires significant improvement. The sequencing and content did not align with the map provided, and there were no instructions on when to move on. Directions on where to walk would also have been useful. Information was not provided for all the key sites.

Perfect tour to get the chance to visit these 2 amazing places in Italy. Optimal time spent in the bus to maximise the time for the actual visiting. They have a great system of sharing a Google Maps route with saved stops for each of Alberobello and Matera. Worked like a charm for us.

Pasquale was an excellent guide in Matera. Self guidance in Alberobello is challenging but doable. Everyone is very accommodating and friendly. The bus driver and assistant were also very helpful. It is amazing that within one's lifetime how much can change.

Well worth it and an amazing experience. We didn't get a guide due to a bad back and wanted to rest if needed. The QR code for a map on the pamphlet given at start of tour was easy to use.

Terrible guide in Matera!!!

The bus trip was great except the guide in Matera, he was unprofessional, no Guid ID & coloured flag/umbrella, no excursion’s plan, just running & forth & back, I was taking a picture of the historic Church, he just disappeared with the remaining 7 people, ( initially it was 15 people one hour earlier), he didn’t keep track of his group. He lost me after an hour of 3 hour excursion. I turn around and he disappeared, later on the bus, one lady told me that they went down the side stairs to continue running after guide without excursion flag. It was very disappointing part of lost time, money, history knowledge in English language being so far from Bari & being lost in Matera 👎🏻

It was a smooth journey overall, but the MUSIC ON BUS IS TOO LOUD. It was a full day trip and would be nice to have some quiet time to rest on the bus instead of listening to the very loud music. Also tiring to talk over the music with my partner on the bus. I hope this can be improved for other travellers in the future.

This was a very exciting tour, although we were on our own touring Alberobello, I haven't seen anything like it. The small and very uniquely built houses with its cone shape roofs, it was an amazing view. Very narrow and wildly going streets leading to all other parts of the town, this was walking in the a different world all together. And Matera was even more exciting the cave city, our guide was very friendly and amazingly knowledgeable about the history of the city and its structure. we have seen things with him I did not expected to see. The views were breathtaking. This was an amazing tour.

Excellent day tour of Alberobello and Matera by coach with very good guides at both locations. Comfortable coach and a very friendly driver Danielle (hopefully spelt that correct) who was very good at informing us whre to come back and at what time to be back at the bus. At Alberobello we also had a very good olive tasting guide including information about the various types of olive oils and their purposes at a specialist shop. So impressed we bought some oil, and specialist buscuits to take back to the UK. Matera was absolutely an fantastic experience, and guide (a local resident) was very friendly and informative guide. Highly recommend this tour. The communication about the tour in advance was also good. Thoroughly recommend to see two of the main attractions in the Puglia area.

Lots of walking at both locations. Hills and stairs could be an issue for some. After a well done tour the guide in Matera ‘abandoned’ guests with minimal instructions to return to bus pick up area.

What we expected. It was as stated a bus trip getting you from A to B. If you wanted more you had to pay extra. It was good for the convenience of being dropped off and given a time to be back and being able to do your own thing.

It wa long disorganised day with no communication in English. We were dumped at Alberobello and the driver pointed to his watch to show return time. At Matera return time was announced in either Spanish or Italian. A crappy booklet was meant to suffice. The day before the trip we were told we could pay €35 extra for a guide. The whole excursion is based on false pretences. It’s merely a bus ride, with loud obnoxious music that makes conversation almost impossible. and a drop off at the respective places. No English and not even a finger pointed telling us which direction to go. Do not go on this tour! Get the train.

Both Alberobelo and Matera were interesting trips. Alberobelo is an unusual and novel experience. Matera on the other hand is steeped in history, some of it is quite dark. Both trips were good. The guides were informative. The trips were definitely worth the time and the money. Bus driver was competent and safe.

It's just a bus transfer in an uncomfortable bus. There is a booklet given to you, the maps in it are really bad and no help at all. There is presentation on the TV screen in front of the bus, extremely poor sound quality so nothing can be heard. The least that should be done is give a good map with streets marked and the places to visit marked. At both the places we could not find a touist oiffice where we could get a map ( not the operator's fault , but general apathy of the local tourist offices)

This experience has to be our best one during our 2 weeks in Italy. The entire staff worked so hard to make sure we were comfortable, had the best bus driver, and the absolute best two tour guides. We loved how series everyone takes their job to ensure they bring the best there is to offer!

This was not a tour. It was simply transportation to the two towns. If you wanted a guide, you had to pay an extra fee. You were given a brochure with a QR code to a map of each town, but it was very poorly done and hard to follow. On a positive note, our bus driver did a good job even though it was his first day. I would not recommend this activity unless all you need is transportation. I would definitely not call it a tour.

Alfredo, driver of #3 coach. Was very nice . He collected garbage while we are away. Gave us two candies. Tour went almost as scheduled. I found other solo passenger on board and enjoyed walking around despite on and off rain. As soon as arrive at destinations the driver showed the board with departure time. On board video guide and booklet helped me to study destinations before arrival. There were 3 large coaches full of passengers traveled together.

For the price paid: 60 Euros, I was expecting to have a guide. No explanation was given. We were dumped at the locations by coach and had only a leaflet with a reduced map to follow. Other groups from different companies had a guide tour. We were all lost, trying to follow each other. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The locations were amazing! Really enjoyed both places. Beautiful and interesting, so glad we got to see both. Unfortunately I found the bus too hot. Its advertised as air conditioned but it was not cool at all. By the time we got to Matera I felt really unwell and I was using a hand held fan. It was boiling.
