- Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

I had a wonderful time with the Ceserine Albertini family! They made me feel like family the moment I walked in the door. It reminded me of the times of making homemade pasta my grandmother when I was a little. The meal we prepared was delicious made with wholesome ingredients and I recommend this tour to anyone going through Bari. Thank you so much Fernanda, Frank and Sarah!

This cooking class was absolutely incredible! Sara and her daughter Valeria were very informative and kind to show us how to make Tiramisu, homemade focaccia bread with tomato and onion and homemade pasta!

A short 15 minute Sunday taxi drive from our cruise ship brought us to the apartment on Fernanda and Franco. We were warmly greeted by an Italian “Nona”. Google translator was a great aid in communicating as we spoke no Italian and they knew little English.
We prepared tiramisu first as this needed to chill. We enjoyed Prosecco while learning to make orechiette pasta. By the time we were into the first hour we were all laughing and singing Italian songs together. Franco has a great voice. Fernanda’s helper, Carmen, was singing and dancing along.
The meal was terrific and we got to eat our own tiramisu for dessert.
We had so much fun we overstayed our three hours and loved it all.

Me and my wife had an amazing cooking class with Fernanda. We were welcomed with opened arms by Fernanda and her family - husband, daughter and granddaughter - in the home in a village 30 min from Bari. Fernanda organized for us to be picked up by car in Bari city for a fair price which was great. Then we spent a couple of hours talking and cooking. It was less focus on the details of cooking, but a lot of fun to make home made pasta, tomatoe sauce and tiramisu. However, the best part was to spend the evening chatting and getting to know Fernanda and her lovely family. A wonderful experience!

Anna is a warm and kind host, she contacted us in advanced with all the details, suggested a menu and even catered to my allergies. Getting there easy and Anna greeted us to her beautiful home. Everything was so clean, well designed and warm. On top of that Anna is one of the most professional teachers I had, she is very attentive to details, and point out the things I needed to do to succeed. The food we made was incredible as well as the dinner with Anna, wonderful conversation, tasty wine and we even sat on the porch together and kept talkin. It's an experience I wouldn't miss!

We had our cooking class with Sara who was a wonder cook and teacher. I did the cooking class with my 10 year old son and we had an absolute ball learning some new recipes. Sara and her family welcomed us into their home wherein we got to properly experience Italian cuisine and culture. Would strongly recommend this experience!

Juanita is the loveliest Italian woman with a beautiful home close to the center of Bari. I felt so welcome immediately and she was very patient and gave helpful feedback during the class, since making the orrechiette is more difficult than she makes it look! We made homemade pasta, focaccia, and tiramisu and I loved every bite! I’d highly recommend spending a few hours with Juanita for a genuine experience learning about apulian food traditions :)
