Could not use this as a Barcelona Card to get into museums. They want a physical Barcelona Card, not something in your Apple Wallet. Very disappointing.

Dear Mark, thank you for your review. It's unfortunate that you couldn't use the Barcelona Card but, as specified in the purchase page and on the confirmation voucher, the card needs to be picked up at the information points. As you might understand there are some technology limitations related to the museums included. In this case I believe that the useless comment and the 1 star review is unnecessary as it's not describing the product but the difficulty you had in understanding how to redeem your purchase. I hope one day you could enjoy fully the product.

We did a museum a day and a night out as well so the transportation function really benefited us. But you could easily do 2 museums a day and nights out we just were pacing ourselves.

The Barcelona Card with 72 hours of transport, including trips to the airport, and access to museums was definitely great value for money! It made exploring the city like a local so much easier. The convenience of having unlimited transport access throughout Barcelona was a huge plus, and the museum entries were a fantastic bonus. The only downside was that we couldn’t pick up the card from the airport, as it closes at 8:30 pm and we arrived at 10:45 pm. However, the second pickup location at Plaça Catalunya was easy to find and get to, which made up for the initial inconvenience. Overall, I highly recommend this card—it really enhanced our trip!

Most useful transportation card, Barcelona is a city with most advanced transportation networks, with this card you can go anywhere with lowest cost. And save lots money on all kinds of museums.

We used the card for subways and buses, beginning right at the airport into the city. It made our travels throughout the city so easy.
We then continued to take advantage of the card at 4 different museums in our one week stay. We enjoyed being able to just walk in to each and spend as much or as little time as we desired.
It was well worth the price.

What a great product. Do your research well and your Barcelona Card becomes the core to planning your visit. We went to a museum, to find tickets were sold out for the day, we showed our Barcelona Card and we were allowed in. Getting around on the metro is a breeze. Everyone should get a BC.... Great value.

I would highly recommend this Barcelona card as it was easy to find in the airport and had a quick queue. It was easy to buy and had a good use for our journeys in Barcelona as it included unlimited access to the metro (so we didn't have to buy tickets every time). It also included a museum card (which just like the metro ticket) it gave us unlimited access to see many museums. The only downside to this was that the viator ticket doesn't work and you need to get a physical ticket from the Information office as you arrive at the Airport.
You also have to be wary of certain buses and cable cars that are private and don't take the card, however these are shown on the metro map, so can be misleading.

Paid for 96 hour travel and museum pass, barcode and voucher sent and saved to Apple wallet as suggested by Viator. Staff at tourist booth outside Sagrada Familia did not have a bar code reader They wanted a paper copy Refused to take a screen shot copy. Email hopeless 3G due to the crowds so could not send a copy via email. Staff dismissive and unhelpful. Viator sent email no response other than this request for a review

We got a good use of the card. We visited 7 museums and rode buses 5-6 times. The best was the third day which was rainy, so we took the bus to Mtjuic and visited Etnographic Museum and Museum of Catalonian art. The building itself was impressive and offered a nice panoramic view of the city. The other site I found very interesting was underground excavation of Roman city. The card offers a lot of variety. We also visited Foundation Miro, Picasso museum, Mares house and chocolate museum.

The information given says entrance included to several experiences, and names them, when in fact when you get to the venue it is only 20% off admission.
In our case it would have been cheaper to get a taxi, rather than pay £80 for 3 days.

What a hassle to plan out ANYTHING using this card. Too much time to try to determine What bus to take, what tram to take, what metro to take etc etc. OVERWHELMING. In fact, we didn’t even use the card except to purchase a hop on hop off bus tour for a discount. We would have been better served to just paid in full for a two day hop on hop off bus tour and not even purchased the Barcelona Card. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY for us. Would not recommend. Anything worth seeing isn’t included for free anyway. DON’T WASTE YOUR $ on this.

Excellent to be able to use the public transport to and from the airport. I did not use the card as much as I thought because the bus tour also gives you a discount book for some the same but there were others I decided to see instead. But you need to plan ahead as some of the places have set bookings per time slot. Over all excellent choice.

The BCN 3 card is a great idea if you use it for the amount of days you paid for it. We only used for one full day out of the three only because we didn't pick up at airport on day of arrival. From Barceló Raval, we had to hoof it to Catalunya Square the next afternoon to get the card. We weren't able to really research all the freebies/discounts and so we just visited Sagreda Familia and the discount was for the headsets which we declined. We did enjoy the subway system and there are plenty of buses to get you around the city. Better preparation on our part would have given us better use of this card.

We ordered a 3 day card, but our plans were upset by the one day strike, so we couldn't get the card till the next day as tourist information, metro and museums were all closed.
However, I think we got our money's worth as we managed to visit 6 museums for free, and use the metro for 2 days. If we had had that extra day would have been really good value- if you like museums.
The Miro museum and the Frederic Mares museum were our favourites, also the museum of Art of Catalonia is very impressive if you like medieval art.
Couldn't get into Sagrada Familia or Park Guell as they were fully booked, but not included in the ticket anyway. You definitely need to book for the Gaudi sights. The metro is very easy to use, but we couldn't fathom out the buses, so didn't try them.
