When you’re in Barcelona, simply redeem your voucher for your Barcelona Museum Pass at Barcelona International Airport or one of several locations in the city center.
Each pass consists of a ticket booklet that contains complementary, skip-the-line entrance tickets to six of Barcelona’s premier museums. The booklet also includes instructions on how and when to use the tickets, the museums' opening hours, transport and contact details, and a wealth of useful insider tips to help you get the most out of your time in Barcelona.
Your pass tickets are valid for 12 months after the date of your first use of the pass.

If you come to Barcelona on a cruiseship half, the day is wasted just getting into town central. The buses will drop you several blocks from the redemption place to get your actual ticket. The museums are not close by. You need more than one day to see them. We were on the hop on hop off bus and it takes 3 hrs to loop around the city to get to all of them. We didnt have enough time and the areas were super crowded. We didnt get our tickets. We wasted our money for this.

I believe that you took a risk in purchasing a product that allows you to visit 6 museums in a period of one year while visiting Barcelona as a port of call during a cruise. Art cannot be rushed. Museum pass was great but make sure you check times - most museums in Barcelona are CLOSED on Mondays. Also, you will need to go to Playa Catalunya to redeem the receipt. That's an extra cost.

Easy to get the pass.
we saw two museums--Miro and Picasso.
Would suggest getting the 2 day pass.

How can you sell me a museum pass for a day when all but one museum is closed? With little effort, you could add a check that warns of this rather than requiring me to study all the fine print.

I went to two museums after being told I could only activate my voucher for the Art Ticket at a qualifying museum. Neithe could activate it and told me I had to go to a particular ticket information office in Barcelona. True that was aviator’s instructions. Oddly the tourist office acted as if they never seen it before. Ultimately a supervisor approved giving me an Art Ticket. Cheaper an easier just to purchase once you arrive. The pass will work although I visited 2 museums before I got it.

The most memorable part of this experience was being told to go multiple places to pick up the passes but no one willing to give them to us. Don’t waste your time or money with this, go straight to the museum and purchase from there

I should had gotten the pass directly from the museum. I’m your case it’s a voucher and I need to use it to redeem the pass. Taxi took me to the advised point of pick up. I arrived there, greeter at the front of the department store said it’s on the 5th floor. An inside store personnel said pick up directions your office given is outdated so he sent me to the basement checking with the info desk. At the info desk I waited in line for more than half an hour and they said they aren’t pick up place. Back in back I wasted an hour of my precious travel time. At the end I visited the museums at my own cost. When returning to the states, I will be making claims for refund.

The pass is great value, but the instructions said to redeem the invoice for the passbook at the tourist information office on Catalunya. But they wouldn't do it and sent us to the contemporary art museum

There was an issue to get the passport. First we went to Picasso Museum and the employ of the museum has sent us to the Turisme Office to get the passport first. Than the emply of the Turism Office has sent us to another museum, telling us that your company haven't paid them... Than recommended us to go to one of two museums of contemporary art, to get the passport there (one of this museum was closed on Tuesday and the employ of the Turism Office sent us there on Tuesday...) Instead of visiting the museum, this tuesday most of time we were walking in the city looking to this passports. Finaly we received the passports in the CCCB.
Also buying this passport online it wasn't easy to me to understand if the visit of the museums has to be realised during one day. Receiving the passport I realised that it is available for a year! It would be nice to have clear information about the time of validity of the passport, buying the passport and receiving the comfirmation online. Just a lack of good information and of the fluent cooperation between the companies. I would recommend to make it easier - the visitor could buy the passport online and to receive the passport in the first museum that is going to visit or to buy it in any of museums from your list.

Beware this is a scam to take your money and not deliver anything. Viator sellers you an all museum pass and they take your money then you download and print your ticket. You go to the Barcelona Tourism office redemption point listed on the ticket. Then you find out they will not give you an all museum access pass They told me to go o one of the listed museums and they would issue the pass. I went to the first one I wanted to visit and they told me they didn’t issue this pass using the Viator ticket. They said the other museums wouldn’t either. I had to pay for each of the museums out of pocket to enter each. As soon as I realized there was a problem I used the Viator App to contact the operator and all that day I received no reply. As of today I still have not received a reply. It seems my money is gone for good. If you don’t want to needlessly throw away your money and waste your time then Don’t Purchase This Product.

I’m so glad I did this museum pass, it was not expensive and it’s good for a year from the time it was first used. I frequent Europe each year so I will return again to see more art museums here in Barcelona. The really cool part was that I didn’t have to wait in any lines and I saw lots of great art in this incredible city.

This was a great idea and a great deal. Even if you don't see all 6 museums (we saw 4) on the passport it is a cost and time saving. The one slightly negative aspect was the way were greeted at the first venue (Museum of Contemporary Art). There was a bit of a mixup with Tourist Information telling us to just go to the museum to hand in our coupon (they didn't have copies of the current passports or something). The staff were a bit less than pleasant about it, but in the end we got our passport and the staff at all the other venues have been tremendously pleasant and helpful.

Great if you are really into Modern Art. Picasso museum was very good, Antonio Tapes is a limited exhibition of his own peculiar work plus a varying visiting exhibition. The photo-journalism exhibit when we were there could have been much more interesting if it had been displayed with any form of logic. CCCB is always a current exhibition, depend if you are into what is on at the time. Museu Nacional D'Art De Catalunya has some very good galleries, pick the period that you are most interested in. Staff at Joan Miro were on strike, so closed!

This is an excellent facilitator for visiting several important museums in Barcelona. After ordering online from Viator, one goes to a city visitor center to obtain the actual pass. There they provide maps, explicit directions, and enthusiastic encouragement needed for someone like me who always fears getting lost! Unlike others on my real tour, I was able to enter the Picasso Museum immediately they had to make an appointment and return later. It is a great value for the price as it covers multiple institutions.

only used it at one museum due to time constraints. The staff at the museum did not seem to know what to do with the pass, and we had to send them the original email from Viator and fill out other forms before they accepted the pass.

Disappointed, i went to three museums and gave up on the rest of them. Picasso Museum was good, that's why I gave it one gold star, otherwise it would have been zero but I can't give a zeo. The two museums downtown, sit very close too each other, are dismal at best. They are fantastic buildings that should enjoy quality works of art. Unfortunately it is littered with what today's Artist call art. It seems that mediocrity has been accepted as the pinnacle of mastery in their field. And current artist accept it as art because they too can make mediocre art. There is no serious attempt to learn from the masters. Thank God Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini, Da Vinci, Picasso, Rembrandt Dali etc., choose to sweat, bleed, sacrifice and study to be great Artists. Taking a blender painting it white and sticking a pink umbrella with black sunglasses on it is not art, it is your kids being home alone after school fooling around. NOT ART! The museums art is sad. Don't waste your money. Not worth buying.
