Brilliant experience, well worth a trip!

Fabulous altogether, I had the class to myself so it felt really immersive, and Marina and Zoe were really knowledgeable and very helpful at every step. One thing was it was difficult to find the studio - Google Maps puts it beside Ritual Tattoo studio but you actually need to go into the mall next door and up to the 4th floor.

Mosaic

This was truly a great experience from start to finish. The ladies showed us the history of the mosaic first and let us pick a design. We traced and then they showed us the different colors of the mosaics. They went above and beyond to help us make our own special masterpiece mosaic. They were so kind and I picked a Greek flower and they walked us to the nearest Greek Orthodox Church that had a picture of the Greek flower that I did. So, I could really see what it looked like. They also helped us get theater tickets for our last day in Athens when we come back from our cruise. They helped us thru the website and my friend was able to get the tickets.

Fun, creative indoor activity

I loved this mosaic workshop. We were told about the history of mosaics and the origin of different techniques and were free to choose from a variety of designs with varying skill levels. We had creative freedom with what colours we want to use. I'd recommend this for a fun indoor activity for anyone who likes being a bit creative.

Lovely kind and welcoming lady and atmosphere, patient and understanding of my ability and led each person by their own strengths, wasnt timed - as long as it takes you no rushing just producing your art, lovely meditation, nice conversation, coffee and snacks provided, space to take a break if needed, i had a lot of fun, really enjoyed it, would have gone back every day if i could. Highly recomend.

I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot about the history and some theory of mosaics! It was so fun, I feel like I now want to try to continue at home when I have time. It's a very fun process. I didn't even feel the 3 hours pass. Just a little heads up, the finished mosiac is quite heavy, do add that to your returning luggage allowance. But every step of the way the teacher helps you and can even point out some places that can be made better by choosing different pieces or how to make things flow better. I highly recommend you try it!

Marina was great! She spent a bit of time on the origin and history of Greek Mosaics then set us up with patterns. She had done a lot of prep work and helped us as needed. It was a fun experience with local art and a nice souvenir to take home!

A Fun Creative Workshop

I really enjoyed this workshop. As someone who loves arts and crafts, it was a nice break from the hustle of vacation to sit for a couple hours and make the mosaic. The instructors were helpful throughout the entire process and offered great advice and guidance. I do recommend not doing anything directly after the workshop, so you have time to go back to your accommodation to drop your mosaic because it needs to stay flat for at least 24 hours afterwards.

This was such a fun activity to do, and a little different than the usual museums and sites in Athens. Marina was absolutely wonderful, explaining the history, guiding me through the process, and was so interesting to talk to while working on the mosaic. This was such a fun activity, and I have a beautiful souvenir from it to remember my time. Definitely sign up for this, and try to do it earlier in your trip so your mosaic has time to dry.

This was amazing. Me and my partner (jodie) went on 12th september at 4pm. A nice warm welcome with great experience. Learnt about mosaics, the hostory to modern day, learnt how to cut tiles, and was helped with making our own. We had tea coffee and a great time, our host was welcoming and a fountain of knoledge! Really worth the money and we got photos sent to us, thank you!

I absolutely loved this workshop! Not only do they give you a history of mosaic art, they allow you to get hands on experience with each part of the process. They also took pictures during the time and sent them so I wouldn’t have to worry about taking pictures. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling.

We absolutely loved this class. It was very educational, and they provided a lot of good, productive feedback about making the mosaic while also allowing you to be creative. I also really liked that there was a good size assortment of premade patterns to use, as opposed to having to come up with one on your own. One note, I would suggest doing this early in your trip, where you still have a few days before travel to allow time for the mosaic to dry and for the studio to apply the finish. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that gave us one of a kind souvenirs.

This coarse was absolutely amazing, I took my 12 year old daughter and she loved it. We had hardly any experience with mosaics, but with all the help and nice instructors we quickly learned and left with a masterpiece in our hands. Highly recommend this coarse!

Our vision has changed about these works around us. There were five of us, including three children. Everyone has found expression in his personality.
