Disappointing experience

My wife and I were disappointed in this tour. Although it initially was nice that we were picked up at our hotel, by the time all the other folks were also picked up, a lot of time was used just getting out of (and later back in) to Athens. After entering the actual site, we rec'd an overview of the Temple ruins and some free time for photos and souvenir shopping. All told, the total trip lasted almost 5 hours with approx. 4 hours on the bus. I personally found our tour guide difficult to understand because of her heavy accent. Following this tour, we took two other Viatour tours to other sites and the difference was significant.

II appreciated the story about the Cape and the historical value & importance of the Temple but it’s a long, albeit pleasant drive for a 30-45 minute visit.

The tour and guide were very good however the pick ups were a bit unorganized. They did not seem to know how many people they were expecting for the tour which resulted in a long wait before we were able to start the drive to Sounio.

I can not to go thèse place bécause when i réserve on France you write me (Tripadvisor whrite me ) thé day is thé 18 november and thé hour is 15h But my phone is out of order when You whrite me thé new hour at thé hôtel is 13h35 so i have not see my phone is a new on order thé 19 novembrer So i have pay fornothing i Saïd you at phone between thé hôtel thé 18 but i have niot a answer … I want to have a remboursement but nobody answer me … I am very bad Can you do some think for me please I Hope your answer Best regards Frédérique Feru

Nice tour of coast of peninsula!

For the first-time visitor to Athens, this was a way to see the coast of the city’s beautiful peninsula before ascending the hill where the Temple to Poseidon sits. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of this place!

Bus picked us up on time and tour guide gave us interesting information during the trip about Athens and the surrounding areas. Good amount of time at the site and, given it was February, not a lot of people around. If possible, I would suggest to stop halfway through the bus ride to take pictures as the surrounding area is very pretty but hard to take nice pictures from the bus.
