Excellent experience! We really enjoyed our day with Vasiliy and saw all the key highlights we hoped to see during our 1 day port stop. He was on time, profesional and helpful. We were pretty exhausted from prior group tours during other cruise stops and the private car was a welcome change of pace. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and air conditioned as advertised. All in all a great day.

Our guide, Tesso’s was the best. There was a mixup with getting our Acropolis entrance tickets and something confusion with our companions and the Viator office, but all was taken care of.
He is a very pleasant man and would recommend him as a guide anytime.

First I want to say our time in Athens was limited and we wanted to see as much as possible. Our tour driver had some car trouble, and contacted us that he was running behind. Our Acropolis tour was the first of the morning, so rather than pick us up at our hotel he met us there after we visited the Acropolis. Because our tour was on one of the hottest days of the summer, we were thrilled Mario's car was air conditioned and he had a steady supply of water for us. He took us to the other sights and explained things along the way. He was engaging, and we felt very comfortable. Because of the late start in the morning, he agreed to drive us to dinner that evening. We were pleased he wanted to "make it right".

Awesome tour! Our guide, Mario, was great! He was on time picking us up from the port and after the tour took us to our hotel with all of our luggage. He was very knowledgeable, and customized the tour to our specifications. He even made us reservations at a local restaurant that was delicious. Don’t hesitate to take this tour!

We stopped in Athens for 2 days to acclimate to time before going on to our final destination for a 15 day trip. We had never been to Athens, and thought we’d stop to get in and be as active as possible for the 2 days. For our second day we decided this full day tour should do the trick.
The van and driver Lambros picked us up promptly at 8am at our hotel to beat the crowds at the Acropolis and then picked up our guide Kathryn on the way. We had a snafu of not purchasing the entrance tickets prior that Kathryn quickly coordinated us through for no delay. We beat the crowds to have a full 90 minutes on the Acropolis before moving on seeing the throngs of people coming and it starting to get hot. Kathryn asked what we had done the day before and customized the rest of the day to avoid duplication. We caught the Ancient Greek Marketplace, Changing of the Guard (it was a Sunday), Museum, and a few other things. Kathryn kept us on a quick pace which suited us while succinctly and clearly laying out the rich and long history of Athens. No question of ours was unanswered. She selected a great Greek restaurant for our lunch and a local artist art store for a quick stop. She offered to take pictures of us along the way so we would have some great memories and she did a great job with a variety of angles and cropping. During the day she coordinated with Lambros the pickups and we never waited more than a few minutes. All in all it was a day well spent and we got everything we had expected and more.

My family and I had a great time going around Athens. We had Lambros and boy deserved a raise! He kept us informed by giving us some background to the places we’re visiting. He even told us where to go for a light lunch, Souvlaki. It was delish! He respond very quickly and he is a very good driver. If you have Lambros, you definitely in good hands! Kudos to Lambros for doing a fantastic job today!

What a way to see the highlights of Athens! George did a great job of making sure we understood the significance of each location. When my sister became ill, he took us back to the hotel to rest and then continued our trip an hour or so later. Patient, kind, and great English made for a lovely day.

George picked us at the port on 23 September, and was waiting with a sign with my name as soon as we collected our luggage. He had a large van that more than accommodate our party of four with a lot of luggage. He gave great explanations as we drove into the city with history. We asked for lunch at a restaurant by the water that was very good. George was a pleasure to be with and did a fantastic job. Nikos provided quick communication with us throughout the booking that we made 10 months ahead and what advance tickets to buy for the sights. They are an excellent provider on this tour and you can't go wrong with them. I highly recommend them.

Spyros did an amazing job !!! The pick up at the cruise port was seamless. Although not an official tour guide was very knowledgeable. We felt so comfortable and not rushed at any of the sights. He was also flexible if we wanted to leave earlier or stay later. Our hotel was right outside of Athens and he was kind enough to drip us off there with our luggage.

That was an amazing tour. The tour guide was very informative, was able to connect with adults as well as children in our group. He was on time, started our tour right away. He tailored the tour to our points of interest plus some other interesting places that we didn’t even think of. He spoke English well. The car was clean, air-conditioned with other accommodations.

This was one of the most incredible, private tours we have ever taken. Sakis was a fantastic guide providing us history and the time to see every sight in Athens that suited us. He always went the extra mile for us, even surprised us with fabulous Greek pastry. Whether you are on a cruise tour or just visiting Athens, book this tour.
