Additional Pickup Information: -Pickup Locations: Pickup is available from Athens, Piraeus, Athens International Airport, ports, and surrounding suburbs. -Airport Pickup: At Athens International Airport (ATH), please proceed to the Arrivals Hall of your arrival terminal (Schengen or non-Schengen). Your driver will be waiting there, holding a sign with your name. -Port Pickup: At Piraeus Port, we coordinate in advance with the port authorities to confirm your exact cruise terminal and arrange the required vehicle access. Your driver will meet you directly at the designated terminal exit, holding a sign with your name. -Hotel Pickup: Your driver will meet you in the lobby or directly outside your hotel/accommodation, where vehicle access permits. Please be ready 10–15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. -Transfer Time: For pickups outside central Athens, including Piraeus Port (approx. 20 minutes), Athens International Airport (approx. 40 minutes), or suburban areas, transfer time to/from Athens is included within the reserved tour duration. Throughout the tour, they are happy to interact with guests, point out places of interest, share general local information and insights, and answer questions along the way. At archaeological sites and museums, your driver will drop you as close to the entrance as permitted and arrange a convenient meeting point for your return. Drivers do not accompany guests inside archaeological sites or museums. Guests who would like to be accompanied during their visits and receive professional historical, archaeological, or cultural interpretation may request a licensed tourist guide. After booking, Athenaos Travel & Tours will provide the available guide options and arrange the selected service on your behalf, subject to availability and an additional fee.

This is a great way to experience Athens when you only have a short visit and want to see as much as possible. Peter, our driver, was a great host and showed us all the tourist spots and some local views of Athens. It was a great day and we also ate some of the local cuisine.

Early morning visit to the Acropolis
Beat the crowd. Saw the city with a great view from the mountain. Walked through districts and spent the afternoon at tge museum.

Fantastic.....the guide explained everything we were about see. Was very helpful to my husband who has some mobility issues. Getting around the ruins was a bit arduous but my husband and I took it slow and we were able to see everything. We did not miss anything

Best day in Athens. It was very hot and our driver Kostas Papadopoulos knew where to take us and kept us well hydrated with cold drinks and fresh cookies throughout the day. We went to places we never would have seen on our own. We went all the way to the top of the city and drove along the coast to Poseidon Temple. A must while visiting.

We booked a private tour for our honeymoon and Vasilis was our driver for the day. He is a wonderful person and incredible guide. We had the perfect start to our trip!
He took the time to understand our trip and interests and really personalised the tour to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more! Even taking us out to the Temple of Poseidon which wasn’t the original itinerary.
He knew all the tips and trips to see the sights in the best order to make the most of our time, and gave careful advice of which attractions were worth seeing from outside, or paying to go into, without being pushy.
It could easily feel rushed as you have someone waiting in the car, but not with Vasilis, who gave us time to explore and was easy to contact when we were ready for the next stop.
His knowledge of the sights and area, and passion for his work were clear, and we left having made a friend we would absolutely see again for another tour, here, or in Santorini with his family business.
We also took his advice for where to go for food that evening, and got a wonderful taste of local cuisine in a taverna we would not have usually found. It was delicious!
