Itinerary
Begin your driving tour with pickup directly at your hotel or port and set off on board an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver at the wheel. Begin with a stop at the Acropolis for about 30 minutes to visit on your own (admission not included) and a quick glimpse of the Panathenaic Stadium.
After a few minutes atop Mount Lycabettus to take in the view, move on to the city center. Pass by the Athens Academy and Athens University buildings before a break in Syntagma Square to admire the Hellenic Parliament and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
End with about an hour to dine in the Monastiraki neighborhood or, alternatively, head to Mikrolimano for a seaside meal—you can choose your final stop on this private tour. End with drop-off back at your hotel or other Athens location.

We had a fabulous tour! Andreas picked us up at our hotel and gave us a great tour, we stopped to see the changing of the guards and many other sites. He provided so much interesting information and took great pictures! He also recommended a restaurant where we had a wonderful dinner. So much fun!

Demetrios was professional, kind, down to earth, and an informative driver and guide. He was knowledgeable of Athens, and shared both historical and personal facts about the city of his origin. He created an easy atmosphere which allowed us to ask questions about life in Greece, and also invited us to share about our experiences in our home county. He is a bright young man with an amazing future and we felt honored to have seen Athens through his eyes.
The tour was perfect for my 72 yr old mother in law who was able to see the city via car. Getting dropped off and picked up at the base of the acropolis park really helped her to give it all she had for the trek up there.
I would absolutely recommend this excursion to elderly people and people with special access needs.

This tour was amazing!. To see Acropolis at sunset was breathtaking. There was fewer crowd, cooler weather, even some breeze. Praise to the Goddess Athena! She survived the Patriarchy and all brutality when Her temple was destroyed many times. She is the Goddess of Victory and strategy and wisdom, Athena rises above all and is alive as Her Temple and Her City stand! Long live Athena and her City!!! Our guide Yanis was very knowledgeable with a great command of English language. He took us to all the amazing places of the amazing city. We saw sunset from Lycabettus hill and a mesmerizing view of the city, then change of guards- another fascinating experience and the tour of the city with ancient and modern history. Our tour guide, Pantelis, was amazing, customizing the tour to accommodate photo opportunities and adjust so we didn’t duplicate sights. His knowledge of the region, both historical and current, added a depth to the tour. He went out of his way to make us comfortable, giving us time for pictures and absorbing the local ambiance. At the end of our evening he was quick to offer restaurants in the area and we enjoyed a wonderful traditional dinner to finish off a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour and Pantelis as a guide.

I found the tour to be disappointing. The driver was about 30 minutes late, and we spent an additional 30 minutes picking up tickets for the Acropolis, making the first hour feel like a complete waste. Given the time of year, the tour was not at night, which was expected. Our guide, Panos, was adequate but nothing special. In my opinion, it’s better to explore on your own; this tour felt like a waste of money since you’re essentially just paying for transportation."

The tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable about the history of Athens. We saw all the main sites in the comfort of a private car. We especially enjoyed the botanical gardens and the changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace. We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it.

A good way to spend a few hours if you have limited time in Athens. I wouldn't recommend if you want more of an in-depth tour. I was hoping for more details about each of the places we saw but given the limited time, I suppose it wasn't possible. We spent about an hour at the Acropolis. Our guide Jonathan was pleasant and professional.
