Mario’s was excellent. Very professional airport pickup. Was a fantastic way to pick up at airport, see an overall view of the city and be delivered to our hotel (when our hotel room was ready!) He helped us a plan a great overall view and we saw SO many sites! We loved this intro to Athens and would highly recommend!

Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable about Greek history And archeology. He gave Us a lot of information in a very interesting and entertaining way. He planned and modified our trip according to our needs and the heat. We had a great timr and saw all the sights we had hoped to in comfort. One of us has mobility limitations but Jimmy made it work for him to get to the sights.

Airport Pickup:Your driver will meet you upon your arrival at the Athens International Airport - “Eleftherios Venizelos”, at the customs exit, holding an H.P. Tours sign with your name on. Port pickup: Your driver will meet you at the Piraeus Port cruise ship terminal, holding an H.P. Tours sign with your name on. Notice that Piraeus port has three terminals, Terminal A, B and C. Depending on the terminal that your ship will dock at, your driver will be waiting for you at the corresponding exit. (e.g. If your ship docks at Terminal A, your driver will meet you at the Terminal A exit etc.) In case your ship docks at Terminal B or Terminal C and the corresponding exit gate is closed, you will need to take the shuttle bus to come to Terminal A (3 MIN RIDE), where your driver will be waiting for you.

Great day in Athens!

Entire day with Jimmy was excellent! Communication with his company prior to the day was great and they secured the tickets for the acropolis in advance. Acropolis was hot but incredible so definitely do that in the morning depending on time of year. We saw so many sites and jimmy accommodated how we wanted to spend the day. He recommended an excellent place for lunch, provided frequent water for us and the van had AC which was a lifesaver!! Highly recommend jimmy and his company and will use them again!

Jimmy was a great tour guide, and he adjusted the activities to accommodate our group. Traffic is really challenging in Athens, but we saw significant sites and Jimmy provided great information along the way. We had prepaid for tickets to the Acropolis, with a time slot. This allowed us quicker entry, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Terrific introduction to Athens

Mike picked us up from the airport in a comfortable Volvo suv. He escorted us into Athens and past sites, explaining the history and significance as we drove. We arrived first at the acropolis museum, which was as a great introduction for what we were about to see. Then we were driven to the Acropolis and spent time exploring on our own, marveling at the ancient ruins. Next we had lunch and ended our half day tour seeing more Athenian sites such as the presidential home, parliament building, Arch of Hardrian. Temple of Zeus. Etc. Finally we were brought to our hotel, promptly at check in time. This was a great tour to get our bearings in Athens, see the main sites right away, and Mike, our guide, was kind. Very knowledgeable, and an excellent driver.

Fantastic Experience

Jimmy was one of the best tour guides we have had. He was relatable and personable. He was so knowledgeable of Greek history and Athens and was able to answer our varied questions on all of the things we were curious about related to Greece. He was very kind and helpful. We ended up using this service to transfer to the airport the next day and we had a VERY early flight so he had to get up in the middle of the night to take us to the airport which we really appreciated. I would definitely use this company again for tours and travel in Greece.

The entire experience was excellent, from pick up to drop off. We visited all the sights we were hoping to see, and our guide was wonderful. We purchased tickets to the Acropolis in advance and our guide did not accompany us on these visits. When purchasing a ticket you need to designate the hour you will be there and you go to the front of the line when that hour arrives. Loved the tour.

1st Time in Athens

My husband, college aged daughters and myself enjoyed our excursion. Our tour guide , Jimmy was fantastic. The experience was definitely worth it. It was catered to us. Jimmy purchased our passes for the Acropolis which made it so much easier. He was able to get the 8-9 am time slot for our entrance to the Acropolis which we weren’t able to attain. Definitely a must see! Jimmy was prompt, friendly , attentive, knowledgeable and flexible with the sights we wanted to see. If I ever come back to Greece i would definitely look up this company again & request Jimmy.

This tour hits all of the highlights! It was a perfect half day tour and wasn’t too much with our three kids. We walked a little over 12,000 steps just to give you an idea. Definitely recommend having the private tour as we always had an air conditioned vehicle and didn’t have to wait for a giant group of people to go from stop to stop. It was so nice that we could go at our own pace. Giannis was an excellent driver/tour guide and very knowledgeable! You can tell he loves his city!

Talk about the whole package!! Not only was our driver guide, Kostas, so gracious and accommodating but the owner, Frank, held on to something my granddaughter left in the vehicle and went way out of his way to deliver it to a family member when we came back through Athens 12 days later. What service!! We loved being able to choose what was most important to our family when touring Athens. Also Frank suggested many options when we were pre planning our trip. Amazing way to discover Athens in one day

We visited Athens with a cruise ship and wanted to see as much of the city as possible in one day. This tour was perfect, as we got to see everything we wanted. Our guide Panos was very friendly and knowledgable. He knew a lot about the history of Athens, and showed many great videos and pictures on his iPad to help visualize the things he told about. He planned an amazing tour of the city, and was open to our suggestions. We didn't want to go to the Acropolis Museum, so he drove us to the old town instead for some lunch and shopping, which was great. We would highly recommend this tour to others!
