We had a great tour around the Akropolis. Our tour guide Nicholas was very knowledgeable and managed to bring the old ruins to live. By making constant connections between the historical Greece and their influence on modern language and habbits, he managed to keep all people of different ages in our group entertained.

Excellent tour and guide! Outstanding overall!

Truly enjoyed this experience with such a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide Nikkos (hope I spelled right!)He really took his time with us. as we had my parents, 75 & 81 years old with us and he was kind enough to have many breaks as we walked up to the Acropolis. He answered all of our questions and shared his extensive knowledge with us, really made history come alive. Thank you for making this a special time for our family, truly a moment to remember.

The tour with Nikos was outstanding. He was so knowledgeable and easy to understand. He answered all our questions, no matter how obscure. And he was most accommodating when half our group failed to show up at our meeting site on time. He started up with the group we had, then went back down for the latecomers. I was very frustrated with our late group, but Nikos was cool and calm. He also took multiple photos of our group, and individual ones as well, one of which is my husband’s favorite. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Niko is very informative!!! He is also very aware and considerate of people’s physical activity and need for rest and water. We are a group of 60 something’s in decent shape and capable of the uphill walk, but Niko often asked us about our own physical needs. Go as early as you can in the day, so avoid the heat. It’s a busy place, but we knew that. Enjoyable, informative, historical. A great way to see one of the world’s most iconic treasures with a pleasant , accommodating and informative guide.

Perfect small group tour of Acropolis

Incredible guide who knew exactly where to be and when. We went in August 2025 in peak time. The guide was very, very good and personable. The tour group was very small, it was just 6 people including my partner and I. It made getting around the big tour groups easy and we were able to get into good spots for photos. The guide also found good shaded spots to talk about the different sites. Highly recommend this tour of the Acropolis!

It's a decent climb to the top, but our tour guide, Nikos, was so helpful and patient. He guided us to shade and places for my dad to sit. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with the Acropolis and more. The tour was perfect and beyond expectations!

Nikos was fantastic - we ended up being the only couple on the tour and were thrilled to have a private experience. Nikos was extremely knowledgeable and we loved the level of detail he provided - enough to understand, without extreme detail. He was an expert on the least crowded spots, how to get around the hoards of people, and how to find shade. As an added bonus, he even took many great photos of us! We had a great time and will recommend this tour to anyone coming to Athens.

Anyone can get a ticket and walk up to the Acropolis but to have a guide tell you about every little thing along the way makes a huge difference. Our guide, Nikos, did a fantastic job of explaining everything. Any questions we had, he was able to answer them. He was also a very good photographer.

Our guide was excellent- we took our time walking up to the top of the Acropolis. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history. Our guide was able to point out interesting ancient building techniques at the Parthenon and had pictures of what all the Temples, structures looked like in ancient times!

I’ve been fascinated by the Acropolis since I was a teenager. It has taken 55 years for me to visit this place and it was well worth the wait. So much history. Our guide (Nicos) was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and also entertaining. Didn’t rush anything and was cognisant of our age and fitness while pacing the tour.

We had just arrived and got lost finding the meeting location. Nikolas was so kind when I called, despite my anxiety having missed the tour start time. He found us and provided a personalized tour of the Acropolis. He was very informative, we learned so much. Appreciate guiding us to the shade and best photo ops. Lastly, even though we had only purchased the tour, he escorted us to the museum and we were able to skip the line to buy the tickets. Highly recommend this tour, hopefully you’ll have Nikolas as your guide.
