We loved the tour! Great bilingual (English, Spanish and Italian) guide and driver, the bus was very confortable and clean. Small group of around 10-12 people. The locations were beautiful and we learned a lot about the culture. Super recommended!!

I really enjoyed this tour! The video guide was very informative and easy to follow while exploring the windmills, the cheese factory, and Volendam. Everything was well-organized and ran smoothly. The windmills were fascinating — it was amazing to see how they still work today. The cheese tasting was delicious, and Volendam was such a charming little town with beautiful views. Our driver was very friendly and helpful, and he made the trip even more enjoyable. The bus was comfortable and clean, which made the whole experience very pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful way to experience traditional Dutch culture in just one day. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Netherlands!

Ana Marie was a great tour guide, knowledgeable and well spoken. Tino did a wonderful job driving to each location and was friendly. Great experience seeing more of Amsterdam.

We arrived at Volendam at around 5 pm and the shops were closing up. Very cute town but wish we could have experienced more. The rest of the trip was great. Loved the windmills. The cheese tour was nice - sampled all the flavors. It was a hot day and the air conditioning on the bus was not working well but the guide and driver compensated us with a free ice cream to help cool us off. It was a great tour for those who want to spend half a day seeing sights outside Amsterdam. But take the morning tour so you can enjoy Volendam.

Since it's a half day trip, you move fairly quickly from one stop to the next. One improves might be to have an actual demonstration of cheesemaking.

We have never had a bad experience with Viator/Get Your Guide. They are always on time, right where they say they will meet you (but be sure ahead of time that you know where that is!), and on schedule for return trip. Their guides have always been very knowledgeable and entertaining. We highly recommend them! The 3 places we went on this tour were just as advertised. We enjoyed the cheese making lesson and really loved Volendam, fishing village. Be sure to get a plate of whatever seafood you choose (can mix & match—I got a mix of fried shrimp and fried fish bites) at the seafood truck on the harbor promenade. Take some time to stroll along the water.

A fun day out with plenty of time at each stop to experience the local sites. The driver was excellent, drove us all safely and had a friendly personality and made sure we were all safe. The windmills were a highlight and dining at the harbour Volendam was a joy.
