We had a great day and our driver Hamza was the perfect guide. The company even accompanied a change of our plans to extend our time and have Hamza returned us to our port in Ijmuiden instead of Amsterdam for a reasonable fee. We loved seeing the windmills and the cheese farm. This was a highlight of our trip.

Got a 5 star service! My experience was spectacular from beginning to end. Sunny was very courteous and professional all along the tour. He shared his knowledge on history related to the destinations and some side notes on the people and the culture in Netherlands. He had an answer for all my curious inquiries and made sure that I didn’t miss any presentation or film where I could find more information on the places we visited. I’m very pleased with my selection and feel very lucky that I got to tour with Sunny!

We really enjoyed the variety of the trip. The stop at organic Jersey cow farm of Henri Willig. Lots of cheese tasting. Enjoyed Zaanse Schans and went into the paint windmill. Enjoyed walk and lunch at Volendam. Trip was well paced and our guide, Gavin, was great.

Estan was like an Uber driver. He had his EarPods in while driving us. He took us exactly what the tour said. No conversation and no telling us what was around.
Not what we expected from a Viator tour guide.

I spoke your driver/host and he let me know that you had enjoyed your tour and you give him a tip as well. I have to note that all our drivers have Earpods in when they are driving because they call handsfree (only if necessary). And it is normal that you will be brought to the spots in the itinerary of your tour. You booked a tour with only a driver/host so you can't expect a professional guide.

We stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam Schiphol Airport which was originally not on the pick up list, but the tour company was kind enough to make an exception by picking us up there. We had a wonderful private tour with our driver, Julio. I am glad we chose the morning trip (9:00 am) as the places we visited were not crowded yet.

Learning about the windmills, the clogs and the source of the milk in the cheese. Our driver, Gavin was polite and the Mercedes was clean. Gavin was super nice. He returned a shopping bag we left in the car.

our tour guide was merely a driver taking us from place to place, couldn't quite tell us much. not informative nor attentive. we left the cheese factory, went back to look for him and found him having tea with his acquiantances

And about the cheese factory your driver had no tea with his acquiantances (the people where the owners of the cheese factory), but he was discuss for you to let you have an explanation how they make Gooda cheese so he did that for you!
Please read before you book our tours the descriptions and if you prefer a professional guide we can arrange that for you during our tours (there will be an additional fee for the professional licensed guide).

On time pickup by Gaven. Very safe driver. Each stop on this tour was explained in advance. Demonstration of wooden clog production was extremely well do, as was the visit to the cheese farm including a lesson in organic cheese production and sample tasting. Paint Windmill visit was also unique.

The tour of the cattle farm and cheese factory was great. Learned a lot. But I wish our driver was more knowledgeable. He was nice, but very new and couldn’t answer a lot of our questions. He needs more training. When we were driving to the farm he did not say anything. It would have been a great time to talk about life outside ofthe city of Amsterdam.

Great driver, timely and knew his way around. Took the time to explain everything and Thank Goodness he knew where to go and in what order. Saved us a ton of time and confusion by leading us directly to all the sights. We were blown away by this tour. We saw more than we ever could on a big bus tour. Our driver Martijn arrived at the hotel and texted us that he had arrived. He was driving a new, spotless Mercedes van. It was great to go outside the city to a lovely village along the River Zaan. We really enjoyed the clog making factory and the tour of the windmills. Then it was on to a farm that produced gouda cheese. We sampled all different flavors of gouda cheese and of course, we had to bring some home! Our last stop was a Volendam, a fishing town with old fishing boats and pretty, colorful houses. Martijn gave us lots of information that added to the overall experience. It was the perfect end to our trip.

Ahmet was a great driver throughout the day. The windmill site was really crowded because of nice weather and summer holiday, but I still enjoyed seeing the old-style windmills, as well as the clog-making demonstration. A highlight was the dairy farm, which was not nearly as busy because the big tour buses do not seem to stop there. Seeing the cows, who are producing organic cheese, was refreshing because the cows appeared to be happy and not distressed. The harbor stop was also nice, and thanks to Ahmet’s perfect timing, we arrived back at my hotel promptly on time. I highly recommend excursions with Ahmet, who was professional, friendly, and a safe driver. He also knew how to navigate around street closures so that we did not have any delays.

Our driver and guide Gavin was perfect. Since we were such a small private group of 2, and he knew the other guides, he was able to get us into some of the places ahead of other groups. The Windmills and how they work was incredible to witness, as well as watching the wooden shoes get made. The cheese factory tour was delicious and the ladies working there were in traditional garb which I am sure they hated, but I thought they looked beautiful. The woman who talked about the cheese making was a hoot and very passionate about cheese. This private tour was perfect for us. We like to ask questions and learn about the places we see. Also having a nice driver like Gavin is great to ask about local culture too.

Great driver! He was nice and very safe. Answered all our questions and was always concerned with making sure we were happy. All locations are very touristy though and are crowded, which is a downside if you are looking for a more authentic tour.

It was wonderful to have our own driver take us to these scenic locations. Just to set expectations- we had a driver and not a tour guide. He was nice and was our personal photographer, and we definitely beat all of the tourist buses. It was very doable. We read all the signs at the Windmills and got to go into a working windmill. The wooden shoe demonstration and the cheese making process was in English.

Ahmet was a wonderful driver. He was friendly and provided us a lot of information throughout the tour. We were able to move at our own pace, spending more time on things that interested us and less on things that didn't. The cheese farm was probably our favorite as it was very informative and the cheese was excellent. We loved that we could ship home the cheese and didn't need to worry about fitting it in our our luggage. Thanks for a great tour, Ahmet!
