Our guide was an incredible storyteller—engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Salem’s history. You can tell how much care goes into making sure the history is accurate while still keeping the spooky vibe alive. We walked through beautiful historic streets, learned so much about the 1692 trials and beyond, and felt totally immersed the whole time. Great Salem Tour

Mischa was a great tour guide and took us through the interesting history of the witch trials and impact on the town and areas. He kept it fun and interesting and gave us some great recommendations for other places to go on our visit. Tour was a little over an hour which was perfect for after dinner / before drinks.

Vanessa from the administrative team and Ivan from Viator were able to give me a full refund the day of the tour due to extenuating circumstances. The street and parking lot of we were staying at the day of the tour, unfortunately was flooded due to the “nor’easter” I recommend using the company hosting this tour and Viator to anyone who’s traveling to Salem, Massachusetts or anywhere else! Will definitely be rebooking a future trip

Our tour guide was full of enthusiasm and shared detailed history at each location. He was also very funny! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Salem for the first time to get your bearings of the town and learn some of the history. Advertise that there is...

Advertise that there is walking but that it is easy walking flat and no hills and places to rest and sit along the way. I have a back issue and I was a little concerned that I would not be able to keep up or last for the whole trip , but I was happy to say that I found places to rest along the way and able to tolerate the tour very well!!

Sailing on the When and If

Crew was fantastic. It was an amazing experience to go sailing on a schooner and to be out on the ocean with no engine noise or exhaust, no wake from a propeller, experiencing sailing as it has been done for centuries and millennia before the modern era. Truly a relaxing and a must-do life experience. I highly recommend it and would live to do it all over again myself!

If you're going to do one tour, do this one. The tour itself is long, delicious, and so well paced. You get to taste drinks at each different bar/pub, and each stop comes with a haunting story that makes the drink taste even better. Such a brilliant concept. And our guide made it even better — fun, energetic, super knowledgeable, and genuinely patient with all the questions we had (and we had a lot!). You can tell they love what they do and love the history they share. You definitely get the most out of this tour. Worth every minute and every sip.

We enjoyed this tour!

The tour was very interesting and well done. April was a very engaging and knowledgeable host, who is a local person with a long family history in the area. She took us to many sites and gave us a fuller picture of Salem’s amazing history. She answered all of our questions and made it fun. I went with my ten year old grandchild who really enjoyed all of the stories the way April told them.
