Alex is the best!

Alex was an outstanding guide and the absolute highlight of our time in Rome. His Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica tour was incredibly informative — he clearly knows his stuff inside and out — but he keeps everything light-hearted and fun, with great jokes and stories that had our whole group laughing and engaged the entire time. Three-plus hours flew by. The tour company also made everything clear, easy, and streamlined for us from start to finish — meeting instructions, timing, entry, all seamless. You can tell Alex genuinely loves what he does, and the way he brings the history to life made all the difference. We really appreciated his tour and can't recommend Alex highly enough!

The Colosseum experience was so much better than the snafus with the Vatican. This one ran smoothly. The guide, Stefano, was so patient with everyone and easy to understand. He answered all questions courteously and we had the best experience with him. He allowed guests to go on their own once they felt comfortable but most wanted to stay close to his expertise.

Our tour was Fantastic. Our guide had so much interesting information. Better than expected. Although misleading. Myself and the others on our tour all thought we paid for underground. Since there is no receipt from the day I booked only their app you cannot confirm on. Too expensive for not going underground. As much as we still loved the tour. Be aware when booking

So glad we booked this tour- the skip the line part alone was worth it. The operator was very well organized with check in and we entered right on time. Our guide was fantastic- perfect English, knowledgeable, and a great story teller. All tours are done with headsets so your guide is speaking at a normal volume but everyone can easily hear. This place is BEYOND crowded and the guide made it possible for us to see all the highlights with the background and context to properly appreciate them. He also took photos for us and answered lots of questions. Once the guided portion ends, you can stay on your own as long as you want.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Vatican with Crown Tours. From the beginning, everything felt well-organized and professional, and it was clear that the company has plenty of experience. Our guide, Roberto, was absolutely excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very clear in his explanations, making the entire visit both interesting and enjoyable. One thing we particularly appreciated was how much time and attention he dedicated to our group. We noticed that he spent considerably more time explaining things than other guides around us, without ever making us feel rushed. He was also very patient when answering questions and made sure everyone stayed together throughout the tour. The price was a little higher than we initially expected, although we believe this was probably because we booked at the very last minute, barely 24 hours in advance. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely book with Crown Tours again. A special thank you to Roberto for making our Vatican visit so memorable. The best tour ever

This was the best tour I've taken in all of Europe. Our guide Francesco was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I felt like I left this tour having learned a lot. My only possible critique is that for a tour so long i really think there should be a bathroom break somewhere. Possibly before leaving the colosseum would be a good time. Other than that, this was a perfect tour.
