We had a wonderful time! The guides were super helpful, they were quick to answer the phone and provided answers to any questions we had. We had a great time kayaking through the mangroves and saw a lot more wildlife than we thought we would. Adam, Frances, and Devon were great! We would definitely do it again!

Very fun and unique experience! Loved seeing the raccoons up close and doing a quick paddle through mangroves. The paddle is pretty short, good for new kayakers as well as experienced ones. Dylan, Francis, and Captain Chuck were great. All were very knowledgeable about local wildlife and good kayak instructors. I would definitely recommend this tour to those who want to see Raccoon Island and paddle on Biscayne Bay.

Great day , raccoons were so cute when we eventually found them! We saw some babies too! Smoothly run and organised

    Super fun

Awesome experience, wasn’t given the option to paddleboard though despite it being listed as an option.

    Awesome

Sean and Devon were fantastic, Loved Raccoon Island!! Had fun kayaking through the mangroves and to the islands. A few notes for others - Pick up is a little confusing, boat arrives at 9am so won’t see it waiting as a guide. Would recommend jandals, crocs etc not sneakers as don’t wear anything for kayaking only need on the island.

Great afternoon exploring mangroves and islands.

    Steven_B, Jun 2026
Explored the mangroves, a couple islands, and swam. Great way to spend an afternoon. Devon and Kelsey told us about the natural environment and waterways. The pickup dock is shared so there are no signs, but it is indeed the first floating dock about 200ft left of the marina docks.

    Raccoon Island

    Christine_C, May 2026
The boat was easy to find, good directions. The kayaking was not difficult or too arduous for a fun day. Good amount of time to walk on the Raccoon Island (Sandspur Island), but a little hard to find them so we did not see as many as some of the other people. They provided fresh cut watermelon which was great, and bottled water for us. The raccoons did not want any more watermelon, someone in our group had chickpea cheese puffs and the raccoons really liked those. The tour guides Frances, Jaden, and Juan provided good information and kept everyone safe. Overall an enjoyable trip!

    So Great!

This was awesome! I mainly went to see the raccoons but we also got a tour of the mangroves which was beautiful!! Then kayaked over to raccoon island where my expectations were exceeded! Highly recommend!

Thank you, Sean! This was such a fun day trip, we loved seeing the raccoons and kayaking the mangroves!

    Bucket List Achievement!

If you're a first timer, the kayak isn't as intimidating as you may think. They have water proof pouches and ponchos for sale on the boat in case you need one. Adam, Frances and Devin made sure we had a heart experience. They provided water and fruit during the excursion. Once we reached raccoon Island, we were able to venture off on our own. You can bring fruit and water for the raccoons if you're lucky enough to encounter them. Definitely worth the trip.

Great day! It’s more kayaking than you think it will be.

    Megan_W, May 2026
Great day kayaking and visiting raccoon island. I was solo, and was, luckily, able to kayak with another solo guest. It was more kayaking than I realized. But I had a great time. Jose, Adam, and Francis. We probably only saw about 6 raccoons, but another couple had done it 3 times and said they usually see a lot more. We did see a nest with babies đŸ„°

Great way to experience raccoon island! Plus we learned to kayak!

    Bachelorette Group Trip

    Kennedy_P, Apr 2026
Ashley Angie and Chuck were great - the music to kick off the boat ride was fun and energetic, they helped us feel safe kayaking for the first time, and were able to take us to the area with the most raccoons. Only bummer was that there were so many people on the island that we didn’t get to interact much with the raccoons. Note that the kayaking isn’t too strenuous but is still an arm workout to mentally prep for. Kayaking through the trees was probably my favorite part though cause it was really pretty.

Amazing Day at Raccoon Island with Dylan and Captain Mike!

    ChiJui_C, Mar 2026
We had an incredible time on the Tiki boat! Captain Mike made the boat ride smooth and enjoyable, while our guides Dylan and Isabella were fantastic. Dylan was our lead guide and did a phenomenal job—he explained every detail of the tour and was extremely helpful in teaching us how to kayak. We felt very well-guided the whole time. The trip to Sandspur Island (Raccoon Island) was a highlight; we loved learning about the local nature and finally getting to meet the "furry friends" on the island. Highly recommend this team for a great day on the water!

Liam and Dylan were great! Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful and really made the experience better. The raccoons were so cute and bashful at first but then let you pet them. Amazing experience!

    Carly_J, Mar 2026
This was perfect. Parking was free, they texted us before we arrived to make sure we got to the right place. Our tour guides, Alejandra and “Tony Montana” were extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the eco systems. I didn’t realize this tour included a jaunt through the mangrove forests, and wow, that was an excellent addition to this trip. Tony also knew where to find the raccoons on the island, and Alejandra was able to point out many fish to us, including pufferfish, a baby barracuda, and a huge hermit crab. Our boat driver Matt was hilarious!

    Rachel_M, Mar 2026
Thanks to Matthew, Francis and Adam for a fun trip. The kayaking was straight forward (it was a beautiful calm day) although we had some people on our group who struggled which meant there was a lot of hanging around which was frustrating. Enjoyed the trip round the mangroves. The raccoons weren’t quite as plentiful as I’d hoped but there were adorable and enjoyed the cat food more than the fruit!

Alejandra, Tony, and captain Matthew were perfect tour guides. It's an incredible time. Expect a kayak workout.

    Best racoon island tour ever

    Jamie_N, Mar 2026
I booked this for my daughter's 10th birthday. We had so much fun! Adam and Sean were great guides and made sure everyone had fun. We enjoyed the racoons very much. If you are looking for a fun experience this one is it!

    Nice guides, good adventure

    Livian_L, Mar 2026
Shawn and Adam are awesome guides me and my friend got lost on the raccoon island and it was Shawn who found us and took us back, so warm!

    Great experience

    Y_B, Mar 2026
Kayaking and island were great. Be sure to bring a treat for the raccoons. They really seemed to enjoy cat treats. Go as early as possible the later in the day the more people.

    Cute

    Amanda_W, Mar 2026
It was a fun little trip but don’t expect to be bombarded with racoons. I was a little disappointed there isn’t more on the island. Our tour guides were great (alijandra and I forgot the other one) very knowledgeable and interactive.

    Boat to an offshore site....

    Joe_M, Mar 2026
Boat to an offshore site. Kayak around island and mangroves. Kayak to Racoon Island and feed the creatures. Kayak back to offshore boat. Guides and crew members are very helpful. Our crew was Adam, Matthew and Sean. Nice guys!

    Emily_O, Mar 2026
Great crew, any sunny & warm day on the water is wonderful but the activity itself was underwhelming, crowded and not worth the roughly $100/pp. And, in retrospect it should have occurred to me raccoons are primarily nocturnal.
