Book your selected flight time, travel independently to Maui’s Kahului Airport, and check in for your flight. Then, meet your pilot and any other passengers—your ECO-130 helicopter carries a maximum of seven—before boarding.
Sit back into your comfortable seat, and after a safety briefing, ascend into the skies above Maui for your flight. Then, gaze through the windows and absorb the aerial views as your pilot provides live commentary on the sights and shares intriguing facts about the island’s geology, nature, and history.
Fly along Maui’s northern coast, gazing down at rugged sea cliffs and waterfalls, swoop over beauty spots such as Paia, Hookipa, Haiku, and Pe’ahi, famous for its huge surf break known as Jaws.
Soar over the winding coastal route of the Road to Hana and capture photos of Keopuka Rock, nicknamed Jurassic Rock for featuring in the opening credits of the 1993 movie, "Jurassic Park."
Then, whirr over the dense jungle and descend into the Hana rainforest, touching down near a former taro farm in the untouched Wailua Valley.
Here, hop out and enjoy time to explore the paradise-like landscapes, awash with coconut trees, banana groves, and wildflowers, and commanding panoramic views over tumbling waterfalls and deep green canyons.

Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
- Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

The staff goes above and beyond to make your adventure memorable and smooth. Had a small hiccup with the photos but the office staff corrected it quickly and more than I expected. Flight was just extraordinary to say the least. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Maui.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Nice , newer helicopters . We did the road to hana flyover. Landed in a tropical rainforest area. Walked round exploring the flora & fauna. They brought champagne, juice & waters. Josh was so informative about everything . He made us feel at ease the whole trip! I highly recommend them!

Everything about this trip was well thought and executed flawlessly. Our pilot was the nicest and most talented we’ve ever experienced. When we landed in the Hana rainforest after sipping some champagne, he walked us around and showed us the local plant life and told us the history of the plants and the region. I would do this trip 1000 more times.

Amazing once in a lifetime Helicopter Adventure! The views and experience were incredible! It was our first flight in a helicopter and we were a little nervous. Our pilot was fantastic. He put our mind at ease right away, the flight was smooth, informative and we got to taste Cacao seeds on our touch down in the rainforest. Overall an amazing experience!

I had a very disappointing experience with John Sandberg. Communication was poor, deadlines were not respected, and the overall level of professionalism fell far below what I expected. It often felt like my concerns were ignored rather than addressed, and getting updates or clear answers was unnecessarily difficult.
When you’re paying for a service, you expect reliability, honesty, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend this company based on how my project was handled, and I hope they make significant improvements to their customer service and professionalism.

This was an absolutely incredible experience! Not only do you get breathtaking aerial views of Maui, but you also experience an unforgettable landing in the lush Hana rainforest. The scenery from the helicopter was spectacular, the flight was smooth and comfortable, and the pilot was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip even more enjoyable. An outstanding experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

John was our pilot and was terrific. He showed us significant places and was so kind to our grandson making him feel at ease. We got to land in the Hana rainforest and it was stunning. Would book again but make sure you read the fine print. We didn’t know you had to have at least 4 people to confirm the flight. We only had 3 and had to pay extra bc of this even though there was 6 people on the other helicopter. They could have put 2 on with us but they didn’t offer that.

I have traveled the road to Hana many times and nothing can compare to this experience! It was a beautiful scenic flight. Perfect weather! Ethan our pilot was extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire trip. The landing in the middle of the tour truly made this so unique. 10/10!

THIS WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Ethan was our pilot and was very informative. he took us on a short walk thru the rain forest and talked about the native plants and fruits. I highly recommend this trip to anyone traveling to Maui

The people running this tour were incredibly friendly, and our guide was very knowledgeable about Hawaii and eager to share information with the group. As a local, family-owned business, they were kind and welcoming throughout the experience.
That said, the tour itself was disappointing for us. The kayaks were equipped with pontoons, which made them much more difficult to maneuver than traditional kayaks. We spent most of the excursion paddling a short distance from shore, listening to information from the guide, and then paddling back. While the guide shared a lot of interesting knowledge, there was very little actual kayaking, exploration, or wildlife viewing.
I have kayaked many times and have always enjoyed it, but this experience was not what I expected. While I appreciate the people and the effort they put into the tour, it is not an excursion I would choose to do again.

Absolutely amazing and worth the money. It was a highlight of our trip. The helicopter held 7 guests on the flight. We did the rainforest landing with a champagne toast. Our pilot John was a great tour guide and let us try some of the fruit when we landed. We saw so many waterfalls, the whole experience was beautiful!

Luxury Helicopter with very qualified and knowledgeable pilots. Nathan was amazing and answered all our questions. He narrated the flight pointing out the landmarks, road to Hana, etc. the rainforest landing was a once in a lifetime experience and included fresh fruit and champagne. Exceeding expectations seems to be this groups specialty!

Wonderful experience flying over the coast of Maui to see many waterfalls, then landing in the rainforest to be surrounded by lush tropical beauty. Ethan was our pilot and he was very personable and informative! My two kids, 9yrs and 10 yrs absolutely loved it!!

The weather did not cooperate today so our Pilot was unable to fly over the Rainforest. He took us over to Moloka'i island where we were able to see some amazing waterfalls and landscapes. He fly in and around the mountains and over some cliffs. Great views for all on board.

Wear shoes, I wore sandals. They land in the Hana rain forest. The scenery in the air & on the ground was beautiful. Pilot was great & very knowledgeable. Our first time on a helicopter, will do it again. Loved it!

Amazing experience! Landing in the jungle is what separates this flight from other helicopter offerings! Views were gorgeous, we saw many waterfals, loved the landing, and of course photos taken next to the helicopter in the jungle are much much better than those taken at the airport
