I wanted to love this tour, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. When I first moved here I heard stories about how Cheesman Park is haunted and I have been wanting to do a Ghost Tour. This tour was not what I was expecting. I think our guide was very knowledgeable however he is a low talker and mumbles so it was hard to understand him. He was also monotone and talked a lot about his ex-wife. I would have enjoyed it more if he seemed excited about the subject matter or at the very least was a little more animated.

I am sorry it wasnt the experience that you hoped for and thank you for the review.
I think that telling you what me ex wifes favorite and not favorite parts of the park are, her experiences that she had which led to the creation of the tour are not too much. I didn't go into anything other than what is her favorite part and why, which was one sentence, and her least favorite part and why as well as her personal experience in that section. I add those so you know they are personal experiences from someone I know and it's not some made up story. Sorry if you cant handle hearing about someones ex a 2 times, you don't take umbrage with me talking about the othert women that I talk about that had experiences there, one that I also mention 2 times in 2 places.
This is the first time anyone has said I was not "animated enough" I am not exactly how much more animated I can be in the dark. I've been on plenty of ghost tours and unless you expect me to levitate, there's not much more I can do.
We are all adults here, if you felt I needed to speak louder you could have simply asked, "Would you mind speaking up?", its literally dead quiet there, the need to yell at you escapes me. You also could have asked for a refund or told me it wasn't the experience you hoped for and I would have been more than happy to offer you one.

It was interesting to hear about the different sections of the park. Guide was nice but a little hard to understand. He speaks very fast…i think he is excited to tell us all the stories!

The stories were interesting, the storyteller has lots of knowledge. There wasn’t much engagement from the group. This tour seems better for locals than visitors

The Guides for this tour our local and are called Denver Local Tours and they were very helpful with helping us to get us on there tour!
Since the tickets I got through Groupon were not legit and never showed up and never returned my calls or texts to confirm my tickets!
Do not buy tickets through Groupon they are not local

Will was a great tour guide. He gave so many details about the park and its "inhabitants", and did it with just the right amount of mystery. His squeaking lantern added a very creepy touch to the tour! I would highly recommend this tour. And, the price is great!

Visiting Denver for the second time, we wanted to learn about the city this time around. But hearing the spooky stories of the city through Rachel’s spooky story telling and deep knowledge really enlightened me and my family. This was definitely worth the time and money. In Hawaii we call the eerie moments when your hairs stand up, chicken skin. Rachel definitely gave me a few of those moments. Awesome time!
