Dan was fantastic! It was just my daughter and me and it was great getting a lot of insight about the history and suggestions for food from a "non foodie". Overall a great time a A LOT of food.

Good food with a bit of history

Alan_S, Jul 2026
Loved the small group experience-only 10 of us with our guide Dan. He kept us on a good pace. We had plenty of time to enjoy each food stop. All the tastings were great. The only suggestion I would make is on the Quincy Hall walkthrough. It was very crowded and while interesting, served mainly as an air-conditioned passage to Faneuil Hall. Perhaps if time permitted, a stop at one of the concessions for a taste. Otherwise, Quincy Hall could be omitted from walk-through. Happy that Dan picked up the cannoli for the group rather than we all walk back to our starting point together for dessert. Overall, Dan provided a great experience for us.

Food and history…perfect combo for traveling foodies! My family from 11 to 44 enjoyed all of Dan’s expertise!

Don’t miss this tour!

Sign up for this tour with Dan. I’ve been on several food tours and knew within 5 minutes this would be the best one ever. He’s remarkable, engaging, quick-witted, and so knowledgeable as a native Bostonian. He definitely has a gift for hospitality. He deserves all the praise because he makes this tour top notch. On top of all of that the food was incredible and we were stuffed by the end. If you take no other tour take this one.

Truly a seafood lovers tour.

Canceled

Sean_D, Mar 2026
Check with the company before you book!!! I booked months in advance for this tour. This has nothing to do with Boston or the tour. It has to do with Viator! We plan our day go to the Boston Tea Party experience and I get a text asking if I’m here. No my booking is at 5. Get a text saying no booking is at 5. So basically it was cancelled with a partial refund after I booked another tour.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

So sorry, Sean! I am not sure how Viator sold you a 5pm start time, as our SeaFoodie tour starts Daily at 11am, but thank you for your understanding and flexibility. And for graciously re-booking with Boston Pizza Tours, we'll give you each one free drink. See you tomorrow!

Great experience!!!!

Great food and a wonderful guide who made the experience delightful. Dan was a very pleasant and informative guide. The 3 hour tour was over in an instant! We had a blast!! Thank you Dan B.

Our guide was great but...

Errynne_B, Sep 2025
Our guide was great but the tour was a lot slower paced than I anticipated. The history portion was very brief. At each of the 4 stops we waited in line, we ordered and waited to be served, and then checked out. I guess I expected everything to be ready upon arrival for the tour. Maybe Boston just doesn’t work that way. Overall, we still had a good time. Side note… we had a baby in a stroller. So the slow pace and lots of sitting kind of worked out for us.

Great Experience
