We had an absolute blast with Marco! It was a great way to connect all of Florence and see the amazing hills of Tuscany! We ended the trip at Piazzale Michelangelo-breathtaking with a convenient bus #12 we could take back to the S.M. Novella train station. We took the tour at 5pm for the sunset but we would recommend going anytime as it’s very crowded. A very nice break from walking. Thank you, Marco!

Pasta class

The pasta class was a fun filled 2 1/2 hours. Our Chef was great and explained everything very thoroughly for us to enjoy the session. Were able to enjoy some free wine with the past that we had made at at the end of the class. Our class had approximately 14 people in, but we could have easily accommodate another six or more in the beautiful area that we were being taught. The class area was in an old brick and stone room which was very cool.

Climb the Dome and Duomo museum tour- Do not miss!

My husband and I had 2 days in Florence at the beginning of our first trip to Italy and the first thing we did on the afternoon of our arrival was this tour. It was amazing. We didn’t realize that all the items from the Duomo are now located in the Duomo museum across the plaza so the Duomo is basically empty. Thankfully this tour included a tour of the museum before the actual Dome climb which really helped ground us in the history and what we were going to see in the Dome and view of the Duomo. Debra our guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and covered so much detail. You really need a guide for the museum or so much will be lost. After the museum, and a quick tour of the outside of the Duomo, she dropped our group off at the entrance to the Dome climb and we were off on our own to climb and explore the incredible views at the top. The bonus was because the actual Duomo and Baptistry were closed at the time of our tour, our ticket allowed us to visit these sites as well as climb the bell tower any time in the next 3 days! We did all of these other locations other than to climb the bell tower (we’d already seen the views and didn’t feel the need to climb again!) the next day before we left Florence for our next stop in Italy.

If you want history with...

If you want history with amazing street food, this is the tour for you. It takes you on the other side of the river and you get to see more how the locals hang out . Sara (Giovanna) was amazing! Great historian of the area and the food. We were lucky enough to meet 2 of the wine cellar/bar owners on our tour!

Finding the group was...

Finding the group was easy with the instructions provided ahead of time depending on how you arrive (walk, bus, or taxi). Our tour guide and driver were phenomenal! They were both incredibly kind and hilarious. One of our family members has celiacs (gulten allergy) and they worked with both wineries to ensure her food was gulten-free. Cannot say enough good things about this tour, it was a highlight of our trip!

Lots of fun, food, drinks and learning

The chefs and guide are all a lot of fun and work hard to make the experience really enjoyable for everyone. We learned a lot about the ingredients and technique to making the perfect pizza and gelato. They serve delicious red wine, beer, and water with the food. If you have mobility issues, keep in mind that there is a lot of walking involved and there are steep steps to get to and from property. The location and views are beautiful!

Best wine tour experience

It was such an amazing experience! We really learned so much about the wine from Chianti Classico and just such a fun experience going to three separate vineyards, doing all the tastings, eating amazing food and meeting new people. We absolutely loved our guide giny ( not sure how to spell her name) but she was amazing. Five stars all around and highly recommend.

Highly recommend

We loved this experience. Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the art. We would not have had anywhere the same level of appreciation without him. We only signed up for this tour because tickets were otherwise sold out and we are so grateful it worked out!! The only downside is that the meeting place was extremely unclear and the area very extremely crowded. Even with multiple phone calls and using their location landmarks, we struggled to figure out where to go as people who were completely unfamiliar with the area.

100% worth it

It was such an amazing and fun experience!!!! Everything was super organized Leon was super attentive and accommodating. It is a full day itinerary and you have the minimum time available in order to complete all of the offered locations but to me and my sisters was 100% worth it. The highlight of the trip was having lunch at one of the vineyards in Chianti, it was delicious everyone was super friendly. So yes if you are considering this tour, book it!!!!

An Outstanding Tour

We had an outstanding four-hour tour of the Accademia and Uffizi with Cosetta. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a clear and engaging introduction to the works, their history, and their artistic context. What especially impressed me was her ability to go into greater depth when we asked questions. Our conversation ranged from Neoplatonism, Ficino, and Botticelli to Cellini and Mannerism, and her answers were thoughtful, detailed, and illuminating. Cosetta encouraged questions throughout and was wonderfully responsive to our particular interests. She was also warm, accessible, and engaging, and made a four-hour tour feel remarkably easy. She struck an excellent balance between making the art accessible and offering considerably more depth when we wanted it. A memorable experience and one of the highlights of our visit to Florence. Highly recommended!
