Fantastic experience and this is a super well organised tour. Despite a 73 person big group, it was divided into English, Spanish and French groups. Our travel guides Anthony and Lucy are fantastic and everything was on time. Perfect trip and will recommend to those who want to have a quick glimpse of Tuscany towns.

The tour was great! There was good information about Siena, plenty of individual time in Siena and Pisa, and the wine was amazing!!! All this and the tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

Itinerary

Your day trip departs from Florence, where you hop aboard your coach and travel through the Tuscan hills.

Arrive first in the medieval city of Siena, celebrated for the horse races that pack cheering crowds into the main square twice a year. Learn about the area's history and architectural gems from your guide as you stroll the cobblestone streets. Make your way to the stunning Siena Cathedral, constructed of striped black and white marble, for a tour of its truly unique interior (at an additional cost as part of the Classic Tour).

Relax afterward with a 3-course lunch at a local winery, enjoying plates of bruschetta, pasta or other regional favorites, complemented by a wine pairing (if Classic Tour option has been selected).

Continue to the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, known for its towers, visible for miles over the cityscape. Soak up some free time to wander the local shops and streets at your own pace.

Reunite with your guide and head next to Pisa and enjoy additional time to discover the city on your own. Check out Pisa Baptistery, the Duomo, or snap a photo with famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Your day trip concludes later in the afternoon with transportation back to Florence. Please note that this day trip involves a moderate amount of walking.

A long day of touring!

Solomon_G, Aug 2026
Walking distance to Pisa site is lengthy. A mini train is available at an additional fee collected on the bus. Well worth the 7€/person. The bus was comfortable but lacked a functional toilet. Guide in Siena was excellent. Guide, Leo, was very good and kept us on track. A tough job with a bus load of us (over 50). Lunch at the winery was very filling. and the tastings were okay.

Absolutely amazing! We genuinely couldn’t fault this trip. Everything was incredibly well organised from start to finish, and all of the guides were so helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Don’t be put off by the negative reviews, our experience was fantastic, and it was 100% worth it. We would definitely recommend it!

Awesome experience and very well organized. Drop off and pick up was easy to follow and the entire experience was really well put together

Enjoyable day, beautiful sights out in Tuscany!

Ndegwa_W, Aug 2026
The tour was lovely, the bus was very comfortable. Lucy & her guide/driver team were fantastic all the way. The sites were also beautiful and enough time given to sight-see.

Great way to explore Tuscany without the hassle of planning on your own!

A fantastic way to see Tuscany from Florence in one jam packed day. The meeting location was an easy walk as we stayed near the train station. The Ciao Florence Tours staff were friendly and helpful as they had lots of tours and tourists to Manage. Our tour left right on time, and our tour guide Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. The coach was very clean and modern. We had a local guide at Siena who was fabulous! She had a great knowledge of the area and was pleasant and delightful. Next stop was a local winery where we tasted 4 wines with a personal charcuterie board, then a pasta dish and dessert. Then off to San Gimignano, it was a beautiful medieval town, and a great gelato shop! Last stop was Pisa to see the famous leaning tower. What a site. As the weather on our trip was close to 100 F, they arranged an option for a petite train to take us to the site (6 Euro round trip) so we didn’t have to walk in the scorching sun, which I really appreciated. It was a great trip that I recommend highly!

The guide was very knowledgeable and very kind! She spoke to each group personally and was always checking in to make sure we were okay! She shared so much information about the history of Italy. We would recommend this tour!

Well worth the money

Jale_E, Aug 2026
Great tour with great tour guides. Only criticism VERY large group (80) of us. I think this was too big, takes away the ‘personal’ feel. Was quite upset that I didn’t get to sit with my daughter on the coach as everyone was pushing and shoving to get on coach which was quite a tight squeeze. Also, a toilet on the coach would of been good, although it didn’t bother me, a family’s child nearly wet themselves as the drive from pisa to Florence is quite long.

Great Tour!!

Susan_L, Jul 2026
First let me say this is a good tour to do. You get to see a lot in a short time. However I felt there was not enough time in San Gimignano and that was a beautiful village. Also, there was a woman on our tour who could not walk well. In my opinion the people in charge should have told her this tour would be too difficult for her due to all of the walking and steep hills. However they did not. She had to sit and wait each time we stopped and I felt sorry for her. The tour itself was wonderful. Especially the stop in Tuscany. The lunch and wine tasting were wonderful. I definitely recommend adding the lunch. Do not skip it. It is well worth it. As far as our tour guide she didn’t do much so I have nothing to say about her. She wasn’t bad but she did not stand out the way other tour guides have had in the past. Overall I highly recommend this tour. Just know you need to be able to walk a lot!!!!

Pass a wonderful day with wine tasting and a beautiful meal. Had plenty of time to admire and see the new places that we went.

Worth the long day

Will_W, Jul 2026
It's a long travel day, but our guide n bus driver (Constantine and Elvis) was really helpful the trip on schedule . The tours in sienna was ok, but not enough time to spend in the town. The wine tasting/ lunch was nice. A guided walking tour of Pisa would have been helpful (but not offered)

Cecilia was such a great tour guide. Very informative and knowledgeable. It was a very fun time in a beautiful atmosphere.

Wine tasting

Vianka_A, Jul 2026
We loved this experience. Wine tasting with lunch was our favorite part of the experience. We brought home four bottles of wine. Visiting Pisa was absolutely a must do.

Excellent way to see Tuscany and Pisa

Vivian_D, Jul 2026
Great day, worth the money, the tour guides Fredricko and Roberto were fantastic, Boris was a good bus driver

Scenic Tuscany

Richard_C, Jul 2026
A wonderful experience of Tuscany, our guide Roberta was lovely giving lots of information along the way, the wine tasting is a must and although the day was long it didn't feel like it with well balanced stops throughout the day the only minor negative was we didn't go up the the leaning tower so you need to be strategic in buying your tickets in advance as it has time slots, oh and remember to wear comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot of walking!!!

Lazy tour guide seemed bothered to even be on the trip.

Brad_N, Jul 2026
This is a great itinerary but you would likely want to choose another tour company. We had the laziest tour guide. She might as well have just been a chaperone and head counter. At the final part of the tour, our group was handed off to a local guide. The guide used a mic system that worked with our headsets for the stop in Sienna. At the end of the walking tour, the guide handed their system to a guest and said I don’t need to walk back with your group, just hand this to your main guide for me. When we walked back to the meeting point, which was a 15 minute walk from the bus, the guest said here is the mic system. The lazy guide told them just I’m not taking that here, just hold hold onto it and I’ll get it when we get back to the bus. I guess her shopping spree was too much for her while we were on the walking tour.

Excellent tour with great tourist guides. Great locations, on time. Lunch and wine tasting is highly recommended.

Excellent tour, great meet up locations. Knowledgeable tourist guides. Lunch and wine tasting highly recommended.

Highly recommend!

erik_t, Jun 2026
Amazing tour and definitely worth the price. The ability to see 3 amazing places with winery visit was lightly appreciated after a long travel day. Boris and Alex were amazing and made the day memorable and a great first day in Florence. High recommend!!

Excellent experience

Julia_T, Jun 2026
Covered a good amount of places and had a great time! Enjoyed the experience and would recommend. Good amount of time in each location

Fun all day experience...

Anthony_B, Jun 2026
Fun all day experience that hits some highlights of Tuscany. The guided tour in Siena was informative and San Gimignano was great to wall around and discover. Only thing in Pisa was the tower for us, but if you want to make it worth it book the tower climb or enter the church .

Wine tasting, siena, Pisa

Janet_K, Jun 2026
It was nice experience, however it was a very long day. I loved the wine tasting. Guide very knowledgeable but talked very fast. Also walked way too fast for those of us over 60. I asked her to slow down but she never did. Also when we got back seemed in hurry to leave and gave poor directions on where to get a taxi. Printed directions would have been nice.

Great time

Ron_H, Jun 2026
You have say no to the winery is a mistake have the whole experience. The wine tasting and lunch was 5 star

Organized and efficient way to see a lot in one day!

Stephanie_D, Jun 2026
This tour was very well organized. Constantino and Elvis, our guide and driver, were great. Fun, personable, and informative. A separate guide met us in Siena and told us about the area with earphone system. After that, we got a few highlights about San Gimignano and Monteriggioni from Constantino. He also pointed out best leather shops and a world-famois Gelato shop, which we tasted and enjoyed! We also enjoyed our host at the Poggio ai Laghi Winery, Sam, who guided us through our lunch and wine pairing. They were careful and considerate of dietary needs! They had plates for vegetarians, gluten free, and in my case personally, Lactose-free. The wines and olive oils were excellent and they offered worldwide shipping included in their pricing. Definitely ordered some for home! Pisa mostly consisted of free time to take photos there. The tour was well organized and very interesting. I felt like we covered a lot of ground in only 12 hours. There should probably be a warning for fitness level, however, as some of the disabled and elderly in our group were left far behind.

400+ km travel. Beautiful scenery but …….

Craig_A, Jun 2026
It is all travel. Very little time to actually see the town. Bus has to park so far away, we literally felt like we were running.

A day in Tuscany

Gohar_T, Jun 2026
Our guides John and Giai and our driver Boris were really attentive and gave great information about all the locations we were at. 12 hour tour did not feel like a long day. It was full of fun and energy. Definitely a must try.

Jamie_B, Jun 2026
I had a wonderful time on my day trip. The winery wasn’t my favorite due to personal taste. I left San Gimignano already wanting to go back. The tour guides were all wonderful. Just note where ever you sit the first time will be the same spot the rest of the ride so if you think there is a chance to get sick on the top- don’t risk it and sit on the bottom!

A very succesfull day!

Mihai_R, Jun 2026
This trip is a must do, especially for those who want to know better about Renaissance and love art and architecture. An excellent impression and many thanks for Lorenza the guide, those informations, beautiful voice and happy aptitude made our day!

Tuscan tour

L_J, Jun 2026
The girls were lovely, but very little "guidance" in general. More often than not we were dropped off after a sentence or two about the place . The wine tasting and lunch were the highlight, and the host was a pleasure. The bus was new and comfortable, but a little cooler would have been appreciated. And lastly, the tour was in two languages and the English was a bit hard to understand. Luckily I am fluent in the second language but my partner was not so fortunate. You know yeah I've been on many guided tours, Viator and others, but this was not my favorite.
