What are people saying about Florence

Academia and Uffizi
It was a very smooth experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the museums and the city as we toured. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it. We recommend staying at the end of the Uffizi to see the parts not on the tour as well as returning to rooms we didn’t get to completely study.

Delightful dining and drinking in Florence
This tour was such an enjoyable experience! Catalina took us to 5 stops, where we tried local specialties and delicious wines. She is a level one sommelier, so she could add context and expertise to our experience. My favorite stop was the King of Cheese shop, the owners were so welcoming and happy to entertain us. We were able to buy some cheese at the cheese shop, order from a REAL wine window (and see several defunct ones on the way) and end our night with gelato.

Our walking tour was very enjoyable and at a leisurely pace. Our guide, Laura, was excellent. She gave us lots of information about the art and sculptures in the Accadëmia and the Duomo, as well as the history of Florence as we walked through the historic center on our way to il Ponte Vecchio. Laura’s art history commentary proved very helpful when a few days later, we went to the Uffizi on our own! Overall, a very worthwhile experience.

Sal was our chef and he was wonderful! He moved around the table to demonstrate and assist and he seemed to speak to every person individually. The communal table was great and we met a bunch of people traveling from all over. The food was delicious! A fun night!

Filled with art, history, and some of the world's best food and gelato, Florence and its terracotta-tinged streets are high on many a traveler's bucket list. Most visitors flock to Firenze to see Michelangelo's David at the Accademia, visit the Uffizi, and climb the Duomo, but don't stop there. Take a cooking class, explore wine tastings, and go on a Vespa sightseeing adventure—these Florence tours can help maximize your time in the city—and out of it, too. Unmissable day trips include Cinque Terre, Pisa, and Siena, along with activities like horseback riding and hot-air ballooning.
