What are people saying about Venice

Abigail was a great guide...
Abigail was a great guide and very knowledgeable, we learned a lot! Advice for all is to leave yourself extra time to get to the check in place so you can be in time. If you need to take a vaporetto, and your timing is off, you may wait 20 minutes. If you can walk, it's a nice walk. Be sure to know the route so you don't get lost on your way!

Rachele is the best
The tour was great and very educational. Rachele taught us about Venice and the surrounding islands as we passed them. She kept it light, interesting and humorous. We got to see a glass-making and lace demonstration and had time to explore both islands freely. She took great care of us and took the time to greet each tourist and give any suggestions for around Venice and beyond. I highly recommend this tour and Rachele!

Francesca - perfect tour guide
This entire experience was terrific. The check in staff were helpful and thorough. The tour itself was the perfect length and absolutely must do when you visit Venice. Francesca, our tour guide, was maybe our favorite part though. Her English was nearly perfect. She was friendly and knew her history very well. She did a terrific job sticking to a few common themes that were present throughout the tour. She was perfectly on time as well. We’ll never forget this tour and our time in Venice!

Wonderful tour
A full tour of great information and tidbits I wouldn’t have gotten if going on my own! Our tour guide with Walks of Europe was amazing!! As with all tours in foreign countries, I suggest taking time before going to listen to podcasts or audios of their accent while speaking English. I did well but my son had a hard time understanding them

Venice is no ordinary place. Crisscrossed by canals and myriad alleyways, this lagoon city has many must-see sights, from the Doge’s Palace to the Grand Canal, from plates of cicchetti to gondola boats. With so many visitors who come to see them, you can easily get caught up in the crowds. However, fear not because there are Venice tours that help you bypass the lines, sightsee responsibly, and experience the beauty of the city, too. Guided walking tours give the history behind the photo points, skip-the-line tours cut waiting times at popular sites, and home-cooking classes offer a taste of the local culture.
