An Exceptional Experience

We had the most beautiful experience! Visiting lake como and doing this excursion with Mateo was definetely the hightlight of our trip. First, he was very flexible especially after we missed our train and he rescheduled us for a different time on the same day. Second, the service Mateo provided was 10/10. He was very sweet, patient and even stopped a few times so we could do pictures. Also, we felt safe at all times especially with my baby boy who also came with us. Wonderful way to explore around Lake Como!

This was a wonderful way to explore around Lake Como! I would not have wanted to navigate all the train and ferry schedules myself, and being able to skip to the front of the line every time was definitely a perk! We enjoyed having plenty of time to explore at Varrenna and Bellagio, and the hidden gorge at Ballano was beautiful. Our guide Alice did an amazing job the entire day and made the trip so enjoyable!

Anna was exceptional. She guided us through all aspects of the tour especially the subway (Metro), train, boat ride on Lake Como and ferry ride to Varenna. She was like a mother hen guiding our small group of only 13 through the trip. Her knowledge and description of each town were great. The tour lasted approximately 10 hours with time for independent exploration. The entire experience was breathtaking!

Great time in Como

This is the best way to see Lugano & Lake Como. Andrea was knowledgable and engaging. It made for a great day and I couldn't have imagined how we would have seen so much of the lake and Bellagio without being on the tour. And knowing that we wouldn't miss a boat because we were part of a tour was a huge relief when the lines were so long that those waiting were missing multiple ferries. Highly recommend for a great way to see the sites!

Well Narrated

We took the bus from Milano Garibaldi station to Lake Como where we got on a boat that took us to see part of the lake and then dropped us off at Bellagio where we had about two hours to sightsee and have lunch. After that we went back across the lake on the boat and back on the bus to Lugano Switzerland where we had about an hour and a half for sightseeing. Our tour guide, Amato, did an excellent job of explaining the sights and kept it humorous. And the bus driver, Claudio, was able to drive a full size bus on roads that were only big enough for a small car. Amazing! It was an enjoyable experience.

The meeting point changed from when I booked the excursion. We had not realized an email was sent a couple of hours before letting me know the pick up spot but that information did not change on Viators reminders or app. Luckily, we got booked for another trip a couple of hours later. The boat ride was great! Beautiful villas and only 2 other people were on our boat. It felt semi private.

Absolutely incredible! We loved the private boat tour so much and Alberto was amazing! I highly recommend this experience to anyone. It’s worth every dollar and was truely a magical experience. Alberto was so informative and so passionate about what he does. We got to see some of the most incredible mansions on the lake and learn about celebrities who are currently living there.
