Better than 5 Stars - ask for Stefano!

Stefano was our guide, he was flexible from the start, we changed our pickup location to our hotel dock and it was so easy to contact him. The boat was beautiful and Stefano was knowledgeable and entertaining, we especially loved hearing about his local knowledge and family history (they have lived on the lake for 7 generations). He provided great blend of history, local knowledge and a bit of fun anecdotes about celebrities. Bonus - he speaks 7 languages!

Great way to experience Lake Como

It was a wonderful way to see a lot without tons of walking in the summer heat. We were able to explore at the three cities we stopped in (Como, Bellagio, and Varenna) or you could relax and sit. It was nice to have both options. Mrs Angela was a lovely guide and gave many great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

A Highlight of Our Entire Italy Trip

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, this was the best boat tour we have ever done. My family and I had an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was Matteo. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about Lake Como, its history, and the beautiful villas along the shore, but he was also one of the kindest and most welcoming guides we’ve ever met. My mother had actually never been on a boat before, and Matteo made her feel completely comfortable and at ease. He was patient, friendly, and genuinely cared that everyone was having a great time. We also had a few transportation issues and arrived later than planned. Despite our delays and all the back-and-forth communication, Matteo was unbelievably understanding, flexible, and accommodating. He treated us with so much kindness and patience, which we appreciated more than he knows. The scenery was breathtaking, the boat was beautiful, and Matteo’s passion for what he does truly made the experience special. It never felt rushed, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. Out of all the tours we have done during our travels, this was our favorite. If you’re considering a boat tour on Lake Como, stop looking and book this one. You will not regret it. Thank you, Matteo, for giving our family such a special memory. Salvatore was very...

Salvatore was very informative, he told us the history of everywhere we had been! The bus ride was good and the boat ride was amazing! Visiting over in Lugano was a highlight, such a beautiful place! The only thing I would mention is there was no toilet on the bus or the boat, I have a bit of a weak bladder and it meant I couldn’t hydrate myself much! Other than that it was a great trip!

Informative Boat Tour of Lake Como

This was a great tour! You have to find the person representing the company you booked with on the dock and check in with them, but that process was smooth and the check in agent was very helpful. Then it was off on the tour! Our Captain, Alessandro, was fantastic! He pointed out a bunch of important or cool looking villas and gave us the history and/or fun facts about each of them, including him pointing out 5 star hotels and Michellen star restaurants along the lake. The Prosecco was given midway through the boat tour. This was a great experience!

It’s a quick and easy...

It’s a quick and easy tour. Seeing the beautiful homes and learning about who own them how old they are etc. our tour guide was excellent. The only thing I would change is to inform people that when they get to the pier that your name will be called out loud about 10 minutes or so before your tour starts.

I cannot recommend highly...

I cannot recommend highly enough the 4-hour private Lake Como tour. It was such a special experience to be able to enjoy such stunning location and have the flexibility to visit charming Bellagio and Varenna as well, without fighting the crowds on the larger ferries. Our guide Frederico was absolutely wonderful and expertly navigated around the lake to show us breathtaking historic villas and hidden gems, and shared fascinating local history along the way. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Lake Como I would not hesitate to take this tour again.

Lovely 3h boat ride with Around the lake

Fantastic boat trip led by Davide from “Around the lake”! Loved every moment. Steady driving, nice safe boat, good music which created a pleasant vibe and some guiding but not too much - perfect for us four adult friends. We booked a trip which was one hour boat ride, an hour in Belaggio and an hour back to Como. Would love to return and repeat!
