Amazing day trip to Lake Como & Lake Lugano! We had an absolutely wonderful day with Abroad Tours visiting Lake Como and Lake Lugano. The itinerary was beautiful, and being able to swim in Lake Lugano was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 🏞️💦 A special mention to our tour guide, Oleg, who was absolutely fabulous! A wonderful day. Amato was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable about everything. He kept us engaged the entire time. He gave great instructions and history of every place we saw. Luca was a great driver on those small and narrow roads. Definitely don’t miss this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Amato as your guide it is definitely a plus. Loved every moment. Not to be missed!

Had a chance to spend the afternoon on a four hour ride around the lake with Stefano. It was truly spectacular. From the charming history of the lake to the insight only a 5th generation resident can share, we had the best of times. Really, 4 hours was about right. We could have rushed to see the whole lake in three with simple drive-bys but the depth and friendship was built with time. Thank you to Hercules (company) and Stefano, our wonderful Captain!

Our tour of Lake Como...

Our tour of Lake Como with Filipo was extraordinary. There was some delay initially due to the amount of traffic on the dock in Lake Como where you board, but he and his company were great at communicating the delay. Filipo was incredibly knowledgeable of the local area! He was humorous and personable, great tour guide. Highly recommend this experience! Plus, who doesn’t love prosecco and a swim in Lake Como outside the gorgeous villas?

We loved this! It was great to get closer to the famous villas and hear about them from our guide. All well organised. Note the 1 hour cruise doesn’t go up as far as Bellagio and Barbianello (too far for that timing), but we saw other interesting sights and it was lovely being on the water. It was perfect timing for our family (9 year old son).

Andrea is the best!.

Our guide Andrea was a delight! She’s a very poised young lady in a male dominated job. Our family of 4 were all really impressed by her knowledge and enthusiasm for Lake Como which comes from her family’s multi-generational roots there. We enjoyed hearing about her experience growing up on the lake in addition to all the famous houses, hotels, and landmarks. The chilled prosecco and cold beers capped off an incredible afternoon.

Amazing experience

Mateo was an amazing boat captain and tour guide. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly beyond belief. He made us feel exceptionally welcomed and answered all questions we had. He was so kind.
