Glass blowing at the Wave factory
We had an awesome experience we were taught how to get the Liquid Glass on to the steel rod and then roll the glass blow down the rod not to forget to keep spinning the rod at all times. All 4 people made a beautiful piece of glass ware but none of this could have happened without our teacher Emilia she was superb, an absolute brilliant instructor. We all what to come back again and we will be telling the stories forever.

What a great experience!
What a GREAT GREAT experience! I am so glad we did this, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. Massimiliano makes sure you understand the process and is with you every step of the way to ensure your safety and that you walk away with something beautiful that YOU create. We had a great time and - as a travel agent - I will be recommending this to all my clients visiting Venice and looking for something out-of-the-box to do.

The was vary good, just...
The was vary good, just as stated. The wood boat taxi ride short, but an experience that we were looking to include in our activities. The glass blowing demonstration is watching artists create. It was fascinating. Then you can view the gallery of the amazing work of glass artists. Artwork is available to purchase, but we got zero pressure to do so. Don’t expect anything else. Note that the meeting point is in front of a restaurant and allow yourself time to get a little lost. Maps walking directions are not great in Venice. You have to step down into and out of the boat from a dock. If you have mobility issues, this not a tour for you.

Murano Glass-Blowing
My daughter and I enjoyed learning about glass-blowing and making our own glasses! It was a hassle-free experience being picked up in a boat right outside our hotel and taken directly to the glass factory. We felt like VIP's watching the master glass-blower and being served Prosecco! Everyone was so friendly and made this a special morning in Murano!

Venice has long been synonymous with glassblowing, but it’s really the nearby island of Murano where all the magic happens. Glassmakers in the late 13th century were required to move their workshops to Murano as a precaution against the risk of a widespread fire on the densely packed islands of central Venice. Today, not only can you tour the many glassblowing studios in Murano and purchase authentic Murano glass, but you can even sign up for Venice glassblowing classes to learn some of the tricks of this extraordinary art form from Venetian glass masters.
