The experience was truly first class! Francesca and Bea were fabulous hostesses. They made everything so fun. From the minute you enter until you are done, they make you feel so welcomed. Stairs were down. Site was beautiful.

The mine was educational, artistic, and beautiful. All but approximately 10 steps were going down. The floors were not slick. However, it definitely is a lot of walking. The guide was very good. It was great getting picked up in front of our hotel. The driver was very nice.

Wojtek l, our driver picked us at the meeting point on time. He was very friendly and wonderful. He explained the itinerary for the day and drove us safely. Wieliczka tour was very informative and impressive. We had a great lunch prior to auschwitz and birkenau tour. It is a must see experience to learn about the horrific past. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. It requires a lot of walking.

An amazing place

Picked up on time just around the corner from our hotel. Minibus with five other people. Driver, Matthew, was charming, helpful and informed us about everything we needed to know. Really glad we visited the Salt mine.... it was an amazing place. Yes, there are certainly a lot of steps and general walking but it was worth it. Much much busier than we ever anticipated. We had a group of 38 for the tour which was about the maximum so at times as we entered different sections we were pretty much squashed. Also there were many many schoolchildren and presumably because the tours are carried out more quickly so they do not get bored the groups kept catching up with each other and us with loudly spoken teachers drowning out our own guide..... who, incidentally, was brilliant. She was brilliant at imparting the history of the mine and kept us interested along with her jovial nature. We did find the walk to the outside after the tour finished exceedingly long for some tired legs. Enjoyed the trip very much but the crowds were a bit overwhelming.

Tomasz was our driver and he was pleasant and knowledgeable, the sites were both very crowded and he made sure we knew where to meet at all times. The subject matter was difficult to process of course but important, especially with what is going on in my home country of the USA. I recommend this tour for anyone.

Salt Mines tour

Excellent trip. Received email confirmation of pick up time and location day before the trip. Picked up from the hotel in an 8 seater mini coach. Driver was on time and very polite. Only 2 other pick ups within 5 minutes. Good journey there. Driver was very informative and stayed with us until the tour started. He provided his number so we could contact him when we had finished. Good journey back. If you are wondering if it’s worth a visit I would say definitely yes.

Amazing! A must do tour

This tour was AMAZING! Well worth your time and money. Dont miss out. The ladies who ran these tour did not miss a beat From the pick up to the drop off. We had a wonderful tour of the parmigiano factory. I went with my sister in law. We took a ton of pictures. So informative so much fun. This was a bucket list moment for me. Then off to where they produce a beautiful balsamic vinegar. We learned all about the process where then we were provided a beautiful breakfast with tastings of parmigiano, ricotta and vinegars at different stages with lots of additional breakfast items. We were being educated the entire time from a lively group of people who were happy to answer any questions along the way. At this point we had the opportunity to buy the vinegars that we tasted. There was no pressure to buy but no one wanted to miss out on that opportunity. From there we went to the prosciutto factory. Very educational to learn the process. We then had an amazing lunch that seemed to never end. Many different wines were served, wonder antipasto, 3 different pastas, risotto and dessert. All while being entertained with singing and dancing. Sooooooo much fun. I’ve been on MANY tours in many different countries and this tour was by far the BEST. We did not want it to end. Well worth the money. Thank you Roberta, Elena and the rest of the amazing staff for taking such good care of us. I would give this 10 stars if I could .

A highlight from our trip!

Brilliant way to spend a day!! We booked the early morning class and met so many lovely people that we were still there chatting hours after the class finished!! Luca was brilliant at explaining everything and the food tasted amazing! The wine flowed very well!! Would highly recommend! We would do it again it was that good!
