From the very beginning, the organization by Skyway Travel was top-notch. Pick-up was right on time, and starting the crisp morning with a warm cup of coffee while the crew prepared everything made the waiting process very comfortable. Watching the giant envelopes inflate up-close in the dawn twilight was a spectacle in itself! I want to thank Meral for taking impeccable care of us. Beyond being knowledgeable about all things Istanbul, she added another dimension of context based on her own life and experience. We really appreciated the way she humanized so many historical events, adding colors to mere facts and numbers. We had the misfortune to witness the storm of the quarter century during these few days. While we are largely unscathed, the same cannot be said about her personal life. Nonetheless she has always remained professional and empathetic, despite having to manage the chaos inflicted on her and her family. A truly remarkable guide and a truly remarkable human being.

Amazing tour! Ayberk was a great guide and you’ll eat a variety of delicious options but not feel too full to enjoy it. The tour length might seem long prior to booking, but is spaced out enough so the whole experience doesn’t feel rushed as you go between the different places on both the European and the Asian sides with a nice ferry ride in between. I highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely amazing!

This was absolutely amazing! Our guide Ulas was so precious and knowledgeable that I learned more in the hours I was with him than I leaned in all 4 years of high school and I actually enjoyed it!! The driver was awesome! The views and stops were unreal and the farm to table lunch was soooooo good!! Seeing more about their culture including rug making and pottery was an added bonus! Nerd out on history

Furkan was very knowledgeable and passionate about history. It took him a bit to warm up, but he was nice, and patient with an older lady in our group who kept wandering off. Meeting point is a good location. The tour was shorter than advertised, closer to 2 hours and 20 minutes, and that includes a visit to the Cistern of Theodosius. There was confusion around my booking, I bought the ticket that included Cistern of Theodosius, but Furkan had not been informed, so I had to bring up my reservation details and he made a detour to drop me off there. Would probably leave 4.5 starts if possible.

Amazing experience, well executed!

The hot air balloon ride is one of a lifetime experience! And this company executed every detail perfectly! From the communication via WhatsApp one day prior the flight, to the pickup/drop off and the flight itself! The driver was friendly. The balloon crew was professional and nice. The pilot himself was very good and experienced. We had an amazing experience! Thank you! It’s recommended to take the first (sunrise) flight and to reserve it upfront, because it gets more expensive/sold out closer to the date, also make sure to reserve it on the first day of your stay, so if it gets canceled due to the weather you can do it one of the next days. Bring cash if you want the video footage. There is a snack bag for everyone and no time to eat it, but also you don’t need it much.
