This is a must for visiting Cappadocia! We had a 5-star pilot with a wonderful personality. We travel a lot, and this will go down as one of our best tours! Itinerary

Whether you’ve opted for the shorter queen flight or the longer king flight, your Cappadocia hot-air balloon experience begins with an early morning pick-up by air-conditioned minivan from your central hotel.

Thanks to mother nature, Cappadocia possesses one of the most otherworldly landscapes on earth. Compacted volcanic ash has been eroded over millions of years to reveal multicolored layers, spires, and the so-called “fairy chimneys.” The best way to see it is by air.

First, enjoy a light preflight breakfast, with coffee and tea available for an additional pick-me-up. Then, travel to the launch point, where you meet your expert pilot and watch your colorful balloon inflate.

As you lift off, the ground shrinks beneath you. Fly over Cappadocia, looking down at canyons, spires, plateaus, and undulating valleys.

Listen to your pilot illuminate the geological history of this region, and don’t forget to snap a few photos. After your safe landing, once the balloon canvas has been removed, toast your flight with a glass of sparkling wine and receive your commemorative medal.

Relax on your drive back to your central Cappadocia hotel.

Was 100% fantastic. You need to go with Royal Balloon. The hotel pickup was on time, nice big new Mercedes van picked us up, met for a very nice breakfast at their offices and then proceeded to the balloon. the boarding process was simple and not much effort. then take off and the most wonderful ride we have ever had. The pilot explained the sites we flew over. the view was simply unbelievable. The pilot recorded a 360video that we could purchase but I had my own 360 camera. When we landed it was directly onto the trailer of the pickup truck so no fuss. perfect landing. We then had champagne and strawberries with chocolate and received our flight metals. photos with the crew and back to the hotel. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with these guys. 100%

Definitely a must when in Goreme! I was very nervous to go on the hot air balloon ride with so many balloons going up at once but it was completely safe. The pilots are amazing on how they can control where they are going. You can't really feel the movements of the hot air balloon. You just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views. From the pickup, breakfast in the morning, balloon ride, drinks after, and the drop-off at your hotel, this was an absolute must do.

This was an awesome experience, we were out of bed around 3:45 am to be ready for our 4:30 am pick-up. We were provided with a lite breakfast of fruits, cakes and access to the loo before going to the launch point. It was interesting to be up-close watching the balloons being filled with air from a fan initially, and then to see the burners turned. The accent, ride and landing were unique and as we rose up, some on the ground used us as a backdrop. Having 17 total in our basket, I would have paid much more to have half that number. Being able to take in the serenity is so much easier when there are fewer people around you. The crew and support staff were professionals who provided great direction from start to finish along with champagne & many chocolate covered strawberries. This is a beautiful way to start the day.

We rode with Ömür & everything was perfection. Spring for the king ride. We had 8 people total which gave us plenty of space to take pictures. For 20 euros, you can buy pictures and videos from outside the balloon which are worth it. There is breakfast beforehand and we got medals at the end. The entire crew took exceptional care of us. We felt safe and happy the entire time. Mustafa is super fun! THANK YOU to Royal Balloon. :)

The smoothest ride! It was an amazing experience, from pick up to drop off, the Royal Balloon team is extremely professional and kind. The breakfast is plentiful and a good way to kick off the day (which started at 4am!!) We went on to the take off place, watching the balloon filling up was very interesting! And then we hoped on onto to basket and Ahmed Basyigit, our amazing pilot took us on the smoothest ride over the main key points around Goreme. Ahmed pointed out all the interesting points, largely enriching the experience. To top off, we had a perfect landing on top of the trailer, perfectly ending this amazing trip. Thank you to all the Royal Balloon team, who were very attentive throughout the full experience.

Very EXPENSIVE great experience

Experience was unbelievable. The heights at which one is like flying, as if suspended in the air, was an awesome experience. It is a must do activity if never done earlier. But, unfortunately the charges charged were exorbitant. I paid through my nose for this balloon ride... like Euro 200 per person. However, when I reached Cappadocia, there were shops offering different activities/exccursion at the fraction of the price. Like for a ballon ride, they were asking a meagre Euro 65 per person. So my advise, pls do not book online, rather buy it when u reach, at max you might not get the desired day or date. But certainly you could save a lot of money.

The tour was organised and they keep good communication, reply within that day. Pilot was experience and the flight was very stable. Even my parent who are scared of height was not worry. We were lucky to have 7 people in total on our flight! And we got photos and video from the tour after ( with an extra fee) We got hotel pick up at 4:25am and went to have breakfast before going the ballon. Ballon took of at 5:30 and we had 1 hour flight time. The ballon was a bit distanced from other ballon so the other ballon looks a bit small, but still a nice view. My family recommended the trip and going with royal ballon :)

Balloon ride was great but no need to spend extra money with this company. The basket was very crowded. We had 6 people per section and there are 4 sections. I think you get similar experience with any balloon company in the area and no need to choose this company at $300 per person! I thought it said 16 person balloon when I booked so chose this company over other even though it was more expensive.

Such an amazing experience with an amazing pilot Ahmet! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. The views were incredible, I felt very safe, and he gave us the best experience possible. We were even able to get the footage of the entire ride at the end. The champagne toast and chocolate covered strawberry at the end were the icing on a cake to a wonderful morning. If you’re looking to take a hot air balloon ride in Göreme definitely book with Royal balloon!

Incredible experience!! The guides picked us up at 4 am, the scheduled time and took us to Royal Balloons area for a light breakfast with tea/coffee. Then, they took us to the balloon area, explained what was going on and then we were off. The guy directing the balloon was great explaining the areas and showing us different areas. Then, a nice smooth landing. We had a great time and afterwards, they gave us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Yum Do it!!
