Unfortunately not a very good experience. We were due to be picked up at 5.30 am. When it got to 6 I phoned the operator, they sent a car out to pick us up and catch the coach up, as we’d been forgotten. This involved being driving at high speed with a 3 year old in the car. The guide was great. On the way back we were last off the coach after a 14 hour day. The driver was hurrying us off, I said it doesn’t look like anywhere near our hotel. It is, it is he said pointing, I presumed we were at the back or somewhere I hadn’t seen before. We got off, only to discover we were a two mile walk away with a 3 year old, our bags and me with a broken toe. Simply not good enough.

We had an amazing experience on our Pamukkale excursion, all thanks to our incredible guide, Nur! This natural wonder is not to be missed if visiting south west of Turkey. I would advice first time visitors to carry cash (local currency) for payment purposes as tour operator didn't accept cards for additional entry fee priced at 30 euros each (for over 8 yrs old). There is additional itinerary to be aware of (such as stopover at a zultanite jewelry factory and wine tasting), which can again add to time and money expenditure.

What a fantastic trip , the only downside is the fact that you have to pay to get into Pamukkale when you get on the bus which no one was aware of so cost another 70 pounds

The trip was perfect all but the breakfast no choice if you don't eat bread and being diabetic would of brought an alternative had I known what breakfast was.

It was not a good experience at all. First the Pick up was late(no traffic that time it's 5am). We were at the waiting area at 5:10am and were the first pick up. Pick up should never be late specially at that early time. Then the tour was late to arrive in Pamukkale. We had to change bus but nobody had said anything about that. If they had checked their bus properly before setting off this would have not happened. We(family of 3) were then sat at the back with another english speaking boy together with the russians therefore can't hear the guide(lady) speaking in English. That made life more difficult. The lady on the tour speaking English was rude. Can you imagine the mic was not working perfectly so she threw it on the floor and step on it. That was very dangerous as it could have bounced and hit the driver causing a crash. That was very unproffessional and then she smiled later on as if nothing happened. How ridiculous. When she started speaking again and during entire trip we can't hear her at the back. Didn't even bother to go check on us if we heard her. The guide should have made an effort to go at the back and also inform us what she was talking about. She threw the mic away but didn't want to make an effort for her fault. There is absolutely no reason to treat the guests that way as everyone have been very patient and understanding. We arrived at Pamukkale then this guide was walking so fast and then kept on talking even mentioning we have to be quick and on time coming back to the bus because we arrived late as if it's the guests fault and bet she only realised she wasting time when she saw a few of us checking our watches for time. Also lunch was super late. Given the tour was late, the stop at the onyx shop could have been cancelled as that made lunch more late and we were starving. There has been no consideration on that part. The onyx stop was an awkward part as it was to sell you stuff and nothing to gain from that part. This onyx shop was supposed to be the first stop before Pamukkale but they had to move it after as the tour is already very late. Great views on the way, you cannot enter and get near the blue pools with water as there's a rope barrier, great sceneries and gained history knowledge. Breakfast was good but lunch terrible. The tour fee does not cover entrance to Pamukkale which is €30 per person(too expensive) and also another €10 for cleopatra pool. Overall the tour was not worth the money.

I booked the tour day before. The tour was clearly mentioning pick up from your hotel. My hotel was yeshill. I got message to be at another hotel that was 20m away. I was there at 5h20 waiting. No news, nobody contactes me. The operator was replying with delay. I ask info about bus how it looks like, nothing. I asked driver number he said cannot say its not in policy but then discovered he shared to me as first message. Then he told me car was totalled and offer to refund. Never got the refund. He is now mentioning i was not there. All lies to not refund! Mete from payless Turizm is to avoid!
Amazing trip, highly recommended, worth every penny. Beste our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

First of all Pamukkale is beautiful! Yes I agree that the pools aren’t like the pictures, however it was still an amazing site to see and I definitely recommend visiting. Secondly, our tour guide, Nur, was quite lovely & informative. She has a fun personality and made the journey pleasurable. However, the agency advertised hotel pick up, but I was not picked up at my hotel. I was told that the bus cannot pass on the street that my hotel is located at so they provided an alternative pick up location. This location was further down the street that my hotel was located on.(I explained this but it didn’t matter) So at 5:30am, my husband and I had to stand at another location, in the cold, watching the bus enter OUR street (the same one that was too small to pass though) passing OUR hotel to pick us up on the same street.
The journey from Marmaris to Pamukalle was 3 hours. However we weren’t given a lot of time in pamukkale. 3 hours is not enough time to visit the place. Especially since 2 other stops to sell us local wine and jewlery disguised as “workshops” were also included. Those workshops took away a lot of time & we (myself and everyone else on the bus) would’ve preferred to spend at Pamukkale.

Honestly a very good excursion. The tour guide Bestie was lovely and made sure everything went smoothly!
Cons:
- None of your dietary requirements are acknowledged so all day I had to go without food as I have celiac disease (gluten free) and have an allergy to egg.
- €30 per person additional cost for the entrance of Pamukkale
- £7 per person additional costs for entrance at the Cleopatra pool

Pamukalle and Hieropolis were fantastic. Less so, the coach, breakfast, lunch and 2 unscheduled stops designed to release you of even more money. What the advert fails to mention is that it costs 700tl each for entrance and a further 200tl each to swim in Cleopatra's pool. Although the excursion states collection and delivery to your hotel we were left on the main road to make our own way back. That said, the organisers have tried hard to make this good

From the start collection was a breeze and very comfortable. Beste was our guide super helpful and very informative, also quite funny. From start to finish, stopping to see the onyx and then onto pammukale, getting to see pretty much all you can in the time frame is tight, but listening to her advice we managed to cover 99% of it. Then the sweetest treat was the wine and tea tasting! The food was great considering how many tours and people they were feeding!

Pamukkule is a great place when you eventually get there. The guide was good, giving historical information about Turkey from the the Islamic faith perspective.
My only advisories would be to cut out the stops at shops and vendors along the way. This woukd have given an additional few hrs at the site we paid to see and would give time to explore all the sites not needing to pick and choose, and time use the thermal springs, which is highly recommended.
But otherwise a lovely place.

Out tour guide Kadir (Hektor agency) was amazing and made sure everyone was happy throughout. A small breakfast was provided as soon as we got on the coach and simit (Turkish bread) was served soon after. We got 3 hours to explore Pammukale which was enough to visit and enjoy the area. Lunch was an open buffet and best I got in turkey with any activity (drinks cost extra). Overall great if you don’t mind early mornings and long journeys.

Be careful this trip this trip is very deceptive it does not include the the entry into Pammukale which is 700 Turkish liras (£21) you have to pay that separate and the breakfast included is not edible. The kids were very hungry and food on site is very very expensive as lunch was at 3pm we had to buy food so be prepared take so food with you or be prepared to pay for it.
Very slippery the first few steps so be careful otherwise a beautiful place to visit.

Hello, thank you for your unfair comment. We have repeatedly stated in the tour program and on our page that Pamukkale entrance fees are not included in the price. That's why we didn't understand why you mentioned this in your comment, and we don't understand why it has a negative effect on you. You pay an entrance fee while visiting such an important museum all over the world. There is no negative side to it.
In addition, the breakfast we serve in the morning consists of: cheese, jam, honey, olives, butter, chocolate, cake, fruit juice and fresh bread. We couldn't quite understand what your expectation was from breakfast in Turkey. In addition, we warn our guests in the tour program and in our messages that this tour is a long tour and that they should take some snacks with you.
We also would like to thank you very much for not mentioning how good the guide on your tour was, also you traveled in a big and comfortable bus and lunch was served as an open buffet.
After over 120 excellent reviews, we think this poor review is acceptable.
Firstly, after 2 very average tours this week. I wasn’t sure what this your would be like.
Wow…. To my surprise this tour was incredibly amazing. Beyond our expectations.
Kadir, the tour guide was an absolute gentleman. Gave us very useful info and was very humble, charming and very knowledgeable about the sites visited and all the venues we stopped at. We ended up loving the Onyx factory and Wine farm stall, as well as a lovely lunch and great bus driver.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip with Hector/Paylez travel if you are ever in Turkey/Marmaris.

Overall a good excursion with a lovely tour guide, Pamukkale was nice alongside the historical Hierapolis and the option to swim in Cleopatra's pool. Several stops along the way to break up the journey, albeit the winery sales pitch / shop was poor; extortionate prices with pomegranate wine circa five times the price of what we picked up an alternative for in Marmaris, no marked prices in the shop resulting in them trying to sell fig jam for 25 dollars, when queried they said well it is sugar free 🤣. The trip started at 05:30 thus breakfast was included, unfortunately this comprised of one piece of bread, one little jam, one little nut spread, a little butter, a small packaged muffin and a juice carton, very very poor indeed leaving nobody on the coach impressed. To surmise a good trip but with room for improvement.

Amazing day, would of been 5 stars but our tour guide was very racist toward British people and Russians. He made quite a few offensive comments that really did not need to be said, the comments added nothing to the tour and they annoyed a few people on the tour. The guide probably thought he was being funny, but he was verbally attacking British and Russian culture! Pammukkale, cleopatras pool and heiropolis ruins are amazing sights see, a must see/do experience for anyone visiting Turkey. There are pop up drinks stores around pammukkale, which due to the heat we were very grateful for. Expect to do a lot of walking if you want to experience the entire site and take snacks, the breakfast was given at 6am and lunch wasn’t until 4pm, the lunch was a buffet style meal with plenty of choices for everyone. We wouldn’t do the day tour again, only because of the heat and how busy it was, grown adults were barging into the kids! But we would do the evening one. Expect a really long day, pick up was 05:30 and we got back to the hotel at 20:00, worth is though and you can sleep on the coach.

Throughout the tour, Beste was very knowledgable, informative, friendly, and helpful.
One of our group members got travel sick and she kindly offered a herbal remedy.
She allowed us an extra half an hour in Pamukkale, but it’s a shame that it rained.
Mete was also very helpful in managing and informing us of the pick up times.
Would highly recommend this tour!

Pammukale is mooi om te zien, de reis zelf was niet duidelijk aangegeven welke tussenstops je kreeg. De reisgids was ook erg zelf ingenomen. De tourdag is een aanrader maar met een andere indeling.
