A must do! Such an incredible experience. Even if you’ve flown other places, this one is special. Hit air balloon with 26 other people was crazy but then your balloon was one of 100 flying over this beautiful countryside. Stunning views and Discover did it with ease. Yes, yes and again yes.

Once we are up in the air, the experience was absolutely amazing. However, the process to get there I think could be improved. First, I was picked up at 3 AM and I wasn’t actually up in the air until almost 7 AM. I understand there are weather delays that happen often, but there was no need for us to go to another facility to have coffee and croissants for almost an hour. I just think that whole stop was completely unnecessary. I would much rather have slept in for an hour, then have some coffee and croissants. I also booked the sunrise tour but then received an email about the daytime tour and we ultimately did end up with the daytime tour even though I paid for the sunrise tour however, no flights went up for sunrise due to the wind. Despite not getting to see the sunrise in the balloon, it was still an amazing experience, and I would recommend it to anyone. If I were to do it again, I would’ve done it in a smaller group so that the number of passengers in the balloon was less. My balloon had 16 passengers, and it was quite tight, plus they had to pick me up so early because I was the first one picked up in the last one dropped off, which is just bad luck on my part.

This was an absolutely flawless experience, not to mention it was stunningly spectacular to see the fairy chimneys at sunrise. Discovery was first class all the way. The pilot Mulshin and his team were so professional and we felt so safe. The champagne toast at the end was the perfect way to end our experience. Book with Discovery.

One of the best experiences I have been on. The view was amazing. Our pilot Muhsin, was exceptional at guiding the hot air ballon and I was surprised with how much flight time we actually had. A true once in a lifetime experience.

The most surreal trip! We booked last minute the night before and we were fortunate that they closed at midnight, as we managed to book around 11pm. They were quick and efficient with their message which we were grateful for, coz we knew we had to leave early in the morning.
The driver was really kind and the quick breakfast stop was nice as well. Heading towards the hot air balloon area was unreal and our pilots were amazing! They were very experienced, gave clear instructions and were knowledgeable. Felt extremely safe the whole journey, the views were immaculate and the sunrise was a cherry on top!
Our driver gave us a great spot on the basket as he told us to wait so we can get on last to get the corner view, which again we were grateful for. He kindly took pictures of us before we took off, as well as others on the ride.
The leaving time for the balloon was spot on as we really got to enjoy the full sunrise and rose up when it wasn’t too dark.
Overall the company was amazing! We landed smoothly (better than most plane rides), the workers were quick and efficient, they gave us free champagne, cake and a certificate at the end of the trip!
I definitely would recommend booking with them and the experience was truly once in a lifetime!

Amazing, wonderful, beautiful. Can’t say enough good about it. Wish I could have slept in instead of driving to a danish and fruit breakfast before the flight but otherwise it was perfect. Our pilot was amazing and took us into the canyon so close to the chimneys! But please note the tip box at the end is for the ground crew that set up and take down the balloon NOT for the pilot and co- pilot, so if you would like to tip them do it separately.

They cancelled our flight due to weather but they couldn't rebook on any other 2 days we were there. That is not good customer service but it's the norm for these balloon rides.
So tip- hedge your bets if booking well in advance - book each day with different balloon company. Then check 5 day weather forecast before your ride and cancel other days and keep the day you want and can ride! All these can be cancelled 24hours before without charge.
Luckily our hotel did a great job and secured a ride the next day with another excellent company.
Would recommend the balloon ride but not sure about this Discovery balloons.

10/10 must do in cappadocia. The balloon was not overcrowded. The transport to/ from hotel was seamless. The guides are amazing. They fly the balloon in and out of little valleys and make sure you get all the best photos from lots of different angles. They provide breakfast and coffee before you fly which is nice because the flight time is early

Not the cheapest option but Discovery's sunrise flight was a well run experience. Pickup was on time, pre flight breakfast was available, flight commemtary, & post flight drink & cake all included. Communication re flight & pickup time was prompt & reliable.
Floating over Capadoccia with 100+ balloons is surreal.

Good experience. Well organized. Nice view. Very stable during the flight. Professional staffs. Prepare heavy coat for cold weather in early morning (flight starts from 5:30a.m. at the end of May)

What a unique experience! The views were incredible and I'm so glad we decided to do this. We were able to go super high and also low and got really close to the rock formations which was really cool. There was about 30 people in our balloon but everyone was able to have great views. Definitely recommend! Its chilly in the morning but we went mid May and were fine in a sweatshirt with light jacket/windbreaker.

We were very fortunate to have been able to fly on the one day that we were in Cappadocia, as the conditions have to be right in order for the balloons to safely fly (any inkling of inclement weather would cause the flights to be canceled). Overall, Discovery Balloons is a fantastic company, with professional and friendly staff and pilots. We had last minute additions to our group, and they were able to accommodate. The ride was smooth and scenic, and a truly magical experience seeing the entire valley from over 850 feet above ground, for almost an hour. The landing was expertly done, and we barely felt any impact. And the experience ends with champagne and we even received flight certificates to commemorate the moment. Highly recommended!

A genuinely unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of the true highlights of my trip.
From the perfectly punctual pickup to the actual flight, everything was exceptionally well organized and professionally handled. The team inspired confidence from the outset, and our pilot and ground crew were friendly, experienced, and clearly focused on safety and making the experience special.
The flight itself was extraordinary: from the panoramic views across Cappadocia even more breathtaking; and the low level ‘flying’ close to the rock formations and spectators below.
Photos truly don’t do it justice. With ideal weather, the landscape looked absolutely surreal, and watching the sunrise from above was unforgettable. The landing was remarkably smooth and seamless, a real testament to the pilot’s skill.
It’s certainly a premium experience and absolutely one I would recommend 10/10.

Discovery Balloons were such a professional company! Unfortunately we did not get to fly as all flights were cancelled for 6 days. However, they were very prompt in informing us and refunding our money. Then I rebooked and again due to the Aviation authority, it was cancelled again! And once again they were so professional and prompt with the refund. They would have had hundreds of refunds to deal with over the 6 days of cancellations. I was so impressed with just how professional and efficient the company was. So even though we didn’t get to fly, I would like to say you can trust this company!

Viator must do a better job interacting with customers when weather forecast predicts possible cancellation of hot balloon flights over Cappadocia. This activity is a combination of very high expectations and very high risks. Do not act like a machine!
