Everything about this tour was perfect. We saw everything we wanted to see. Our guide, Taylan, was amazing. Knowledgable, kind, attentive to the needs of our group, funny, and a true local. The van was clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better day!!

Hati and the driver Ahmed was amazing driver that was like a limo. Hati gave us an incredible tour. The lunch was amazing and she was as so great. She cared about my safety and held my hand around the ancient city. She was so smart and told us so many things. One of the best guides we have truly ever had

I changed the time of the reserved booking at 9am to 10am so that didn't have to rush in the morning. I paid an extra fee to change it and then when the operator messaged they said it was 9am!!! Cannot get hold of Viator to get a refund...
That said the tour was brilliant and the tour guide Hazel was knowledgeable and interesting and she made sure the group were all ok and kept the pace perfect.

Perfect way to spend the day on a private tour, jumped the lines, given solid advice to enhance the day and information relating to what we were interested in - we did not want it to be religion biased, and our guide avoided too much information in that area, sticking mainly to architecture, historical events / timelines etc.

Our tour guide, Riza was awesome! He was very knowledgeable for all the places we visited and so very friendly! Ephesus is an amazing place to see as well as The Virgin Mary’s home. We had enough tiime spent at all stops. The Turkish lunch that was provided was delicious. Highly recommend this excursion and highly recommend Riza as your tour guide!

We had a well-organized tour, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The whole experience felt easy and stress-free.
Ezgi was an excellent guide. She explained everything clearly and kept the level of detail balanced, not too much, not too little. It was clear she knows her subject well.
We visited the House of the Virgin Mary, the ancient city of Ephesus, and the Temple of Artemis. Each stop was interesting and well paced.
What stood out most was that Ezgi is local. She shared insights about the culture and daily life, which made the tour feel more personal and authentic.
Overall, a great experience and a guide I would highly recommend.

Great start to day - history information was excellent . Tour guide Medi was excellent but visit to carpet factory and a leather factory were excruciating - hard sell for carpets and leather jackets - did not sign up for this but can laugh at being part of seeing a full fashion show.

We loved the tour especially Ephesus. We loved it more than the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. We enjoyed seeing how the handmade rugs were made. Lunch at the school was wonderful as well. What we did not expect was some pressure of purchasing a rug after lunch. We did end up getting one and are very happy with it. However, you should be prepared for the pitch as we were not. Our guide was very friendly and informative.

Easy to meet with guide at port. Clean comfortable bus. Our guide Ozz spoke clear English and very knowledgeable of local and regional culture and history. Excellent visits to the historic sites. Lunch was tasty local meals.
The carpet visit could have been shortened by 15 mins.
Guide juggled the Ephesus portion to avoid rain. Dispute the rain, it was a great day.

Book this experience! Funda is a phenomenal guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and excellent at explaining history in a way that resonates with all age ranges.
As cruisers, we were initially nervous about exploring a new country, but the communication during the booking process was seamless and kept us updated every step of the way. This tour completely relieved our worries. My daughter and I share a love for history, culture, and architecture, and this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The logistics were perfect: transportation was quick, and Funda tailored the itinerary to our preferences so we saw everything on our wish list. The food was delicious, and the carpet demonstration was a beautiful cultural highlight. Most importantly, we arrived back at our ship with plenty of time to spare.
