Taylan was absolutely the best. His command of ancient history was impressive especially when we toured Ephesus. He provided my sisters and I with cold bottled water and top shelf attention to details. He did not rush us and showed genuine interest in our wellbeing. I loved every aspect of the tour; the rug factory, the Great Theatre, the Greek store we visited and Mother Mary’s House. 5 Stars for sure. Highly recommend.

Kazim was our fantastic guide.

Wonderful day exploring the blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Cisterns. It was all amazing. We also went to the grand bazaar which was beautiful and very clean. My brother-in-law was using an electric wheelchair and with Kazim’s help we were able to see everything- even going down into the Cisterns which was a “not to be missed” experience. Kazim’s knowledge and command of English was impressive. If you have proof of handicap (such as the US VA 100% disability card my brother-in-law has the admission to the cisterns was free.

Amazing Food Tour in Istanbul

We had an absolutely wonderful food tour in Istanbul with Ayse! She was knowledgeable, warm, and made the entire experience so much fun. We explored the spice markets and enjoyed such a wide variety of delicious Turkish food—we got to experience so many flavors and dishes that we never would have discovered on our own. What really stood out, though, was how incredibly helpful and accommodating Ayse was when my mom unexpectedly lost a veneer during the tour. Ayse immediately helped us find a dentist and somehow worked the dental visit seamlessly into our itinerary without disrupting the experience. Her kindness, quick thinking, and genuine concern turned what could have been a stressful situation into a surprisingly easy one. Ayse went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic day, and we are so grateful for her. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Ayse as your guide!

Such a great experience. Punctual pick up, great guide and a great crew. So skilled, our pilot was able to land directly on the trailer. Not for the faint of heart. Best Guide Ever

Our tour guide was truly one of the highlights of our trip. What made him so exceptional was how well he read my daughter and me. He noticed what we were interested in, what we were less interested in, and somehow seemed to understand what we wanted to do, even though we didn't exactly know what we wanted! He didn't just follow a standard itinerary. He took time to show us things that connected with our interests and shared local culture and everyday life in a way that made the experience feel personal and authentic.

Off the bucket list

We spent 2 days in Istanbul and it was an amazing experience seeing the sights and sound of the city. Our Viator tour operator was Guided Istanbul Tours with Atilim as our tour guide and Ismael as our driver. Atilim was a magnificent tour guide. He guided us through the palaces and the mosques and was very thorough in giving us background information and history of the places we visited. He made sure that we are safe and was very attentive to our needs. We took a dinner cruise which means he had to drop us off at the dinner cruise boat but he was constantly communicating and checking how we are doing and and that we made it safely back to our cruise ship after and that was almost midnight, yet he stayed awake to check on us. He communicated with us before we arrived in Istanbul and we told him what we wanted to see so he planned our 2 day tour according to our preference. He was very organized that it felt like we did not waste any time and maximized our experience to the fullest. Seeing the Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and the palaces was a great experience. Walking down the different neighborhoods and getting a glimpse of how Istanbul lives and breath was amazing. The smell of spices, Turkish coffee, sweet treats and the amazing shopping at the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar was a great experience. And not to forget the food. Istanbul was surely a great experience we were able to tick off our bucket list and thanks to Atilim and Ismael it was a trip to remember.

Istanbul three site walking tour

We were led by a very experienced guide who answered many questions asked of him and shared lots of interesting information with us. It was easy to hear because we all had an ear phone. Our group was 18 people which was manageable. Each of the three places we visited were interesting in their own way. We particularly enjoyed the history linked with the Hagia Sophia and loved the Christian mosaics uncovered more recently. We were also amazed at the Basilica cistern; it's beauty and preservation.

Old Crone Boat Review

Went on the cruise with two women in their upper 70s. They both enjoyed their two hours on the water. One chose to stay inside and the other was outside. A good sampling of Turkish snacks to include baklava and fruit/nuts were included. One thing I would have liked to have changed is that the pickup time is not the same as the one shown in the listing. We were under the impression that we were being picked up at 5 pm when the reality was they stopped by at 4:30pm. I would have appreciated being informed of the meetup time prior to departing. Staff was kind to my mother with walking issues and she appreciated getting a front row seat with ouch standing in line for it.

Great experience

Everything was very well planned and it was a smooth experience. They picked us up at the exact time they mentioned and once we got to the site our balloon was ready for us to get in the basket. Our pilot was super nice and funny and made our flight very nice. The views were breathtaking of course and an amazing once in a lifetime experience. They had a great price and excellent staff. The Traditional Performances Made the Night

This was such a fun and memorable way to spend an evening in Istanbul. The Bosphorus views were beautiful, the atmosphere was lively, and having a private table made the experience feel even more comfortable and enjoyable. One of my favorite parts was the traditional dancing during dinner. The performances were so much fun to watch and really made the night stand out. It added a cultural element to the cruise that made the experience feel more special than just having dinner on the water. The staff was also very nice and helped make the evening enjoyable from start to finish. Between the food, the traditional performances, the atmosphere, and the nighttime views of Istanbul, this was a really nice experience and one I would definitely recommend.

There's nothing better and than a dedicated guidee

Our guide, Forkan, was knowledgeable, patient, and is passionate about Turkish history. As a result, the tour was interesting and engaging in a fun way. There were one or two things that warned exactly as I understand it wasn't presented in any offensive way, and I highly recommend the tour. It was truly a nice experience.
