Wonderful overview of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill

Excellent tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We're really glad that we took the tour rather than going it on our own as the guide was able to get us into some spaces that weren't as crowded (the floor). A note that the steps in the Colosseum are ancient (truly), uneven, and they slightly slope downwards. Even though I'm in great shape and walk constantly, going down the stairs took concentration. Wear shoes with a good grip!

This was an excellent Colosseum and Roman Forum 3 hr tour with Francesca. She had so much to teach us in a very interesting way. The time flew by- she kept us moving from one spot to the next without being hurried. She was very easy to understand. Our 13 yr old grandson enjoyed it as well. I’d take another tour with her for sure if we had time.

Our Colosseum tour was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our entire trip! Marco “the Joke” was hands down the best tour guide we had the whole vacation. We loved this tour! Our guide, Luca, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and very funny, an added plus to the tour itself. Prepare for an evening walk. You will see some familiar landmarks in a different light. The tour was well organized. And I appreciated how much the guide was able to adjust things for us. One caution, the tour is indeed two hours so you might be getting home later than you originally expected

There was a little more...

There was a little more walking involved, but very much worth it. Very informative guide gave us a lot of history and stories all about Rome.. my favorite part of the trip was finding out about the aqua ducts under the city and knowing that you could drink the water straight from the fountains.
