Essential Tuscany in one day

It is at fully loaded package of Tuscany and you get to see a lot. Manolo was an excellent guide, very knowledgeful and relaxed but managed also to keep our 65 pax busload in schedule. Even if Manolo had planned enough breaks and sold water in the bus, this 12 hour package can be exhausting in heat (and I guess rain as well), so be prepared!

Did the full-day Douro Valley wine tour and it was the highlight of our Porto trip. Rita, our guide, was fantastic, super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. Julio handled all the driving through those winding valley roads and got us everywhere smoothly, which let the rest of us just sit back and enjoy the views. The scenery is unreal, the quintas we visited were great, and the tastings were the perfect amount. Rita and Julio made the whole day feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. Amazing but be prepared!

The sites are amazing, murals, gardens and artifacts absolutely no camera can truly capture. It was an amazing experience, and the guides were very knowledgeable. In July, go earliest tour possible as the heat can be overwhelming. The Vatican is overcrowded, everyone squeezing down hallways from one room to another, just be prepared. I traveled with my son (10) and mom (80), both struggled with the heat and amount of walking, also trying to hydrate at each water fountain along the way. I bought a shawl which I soaked and put around my neck which was very helpful- highly recommend!

We waited until the last minute to buy tickets for the Louvre and they were sold out, luckily the Viator tour had a few remaining spots. As someone who studied art history, I tend to prefer exploring in my own, however, Mo proved that a trusted guide in the process uncovers rich history and insights that often get overlooked. I highly recommend a tour with this knowledgeable guide. She was delightful and shared her expertise to help us learn.

Sunset slot for family of 3!

Our tour guide for the English tour with Uncle Sam tours was named Loveth, who was very knowledgeable and bubbly. We had an Evening/ sunset slot with stairs for ascending to 2nd floor and optional elevator for the summit. Our guide gave us all the history whilst in the queue for tickets and in 1st floor. While the experience was very nice and the host lovely, it is much more expensive (about double) than just queuing for a ticket at the gate but it was the only way to book in advance as the direct site advance tickets are gone very quickly once released for peak holiday season. We were only in the city for 3 days so we didn't want to take the chance of there being no availability on the days we wanted. Overall we were very happy we did it.
