Laurent was our guide and he was excellent. We were picked up and dropped off right to our door! He was very knowledgeable and made the excursion quite worthwhile. It’s a perfect way to get to see so many beautiful places in a short time. Highly recommend.

The Guide Makes The Tour!
Thank you to Azur Wine Tours and our terrific guide Ghislaine (Gigi) . What a delight! The confirmation message referred to Gigi as a "passion wine expert" which could not have been more accurate. On previous wine tours, I have experienced a driver that then hands the group off to the vineyard representative. In this case, Gigi was not only our informative driver, but also our guide at each of the three stunning vineyards, explaining each tasting pour. This made for a very consistent flow throughout the eight hour day. The pre-pick up message was clear, specific, and all I needed for an easy pick up and drop off. Gigi was not only a superb guide, but also a very safe and responsible driver of the comfortable van. A terrific day of exploration.

The Best Riviera Tour
This tour is an all day tour, literally. There is lots of walking so make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Do NOT dress to impress because I don't think you will have a great experience. FRANCIS was our Tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and patient. He picked us all up from our Hotel which was convenient and helpful. The tour goes to a lot of different spots so it is pretty extensive. The Van was a little smaller than expected but I think that might be by design to navigate a little easier so it was fine. The stops give you enough time to explore , for the most part. You should consider a specific area tour if you want to stay at a spot a little longer. It was enough time for me because I don't always like being in a place too long. I had an amazing group of people on the tour with me, consisting of one from Chicago , one from Australia, one from India a couple from Brazil, and a mom and daughter from the pacific northwest, where im from, so this made the experience so much better. So if you have a great group of friends you get along with, this would be the tour to take. I like the more intimate atmosphere of this tour because as mentioned before ,it gives you a chance to meet new people and share a great experience. It also makes it easier to travel solo, because you actually feel part of the group. Most of us also stayed together alot of the time instead of going off on our own and coming back to the meeting point. One of my favorite parts of the tour was getting to drive on the Grand Prix track. That was pretty cool. Also going to the hotel and casino that James Bond was filmed in was a big bucket list area for me , being a huge fan of the series. We got lucky and avoided rain so check the weather and try and do this on a sunny day. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't say enough nice things about our tour guide and the wonderful people I met. I would definitely use Francis again and would even do the same tour again when I return.

Foodie Must-do in Nice
Mom and I had such a fun time on our tour tasting all of Nice’s specialties! Leo was friendly and knew a lot about the area. My favorite food was the pan bagnat (sandwich) and Tourtte de blette sucré (with a surprisingly good sneaky ingredient)! The pace was easy and there were lots of breaks but we walked about 5,000 steps during the tour, so wear walking shoes.

Go wine tasting amid grapevines, stroll romantic cobblestoned streets, and cruise the Mediterranean by yacht when you visit the French Riviera. (Yes, this jetsetter’s vacation destination is every bit as glamorous as it sounds.) The best way to immerse in the local culture and see all the important sights is with expert-led French Riviera tours. There’s no need to navigate tricky foreign streets on your own (whether by car or on foot) when tour guides can save you time and energy with private sightseeing excursions or group day trips to explore the most enchanting French towns.
