It was a cool experience and made us realise how much the little things matter! Lorenzo was a good and patient teacher :) Highly recommended!
Letiza is the best! Full of energy and amazing teacher. Speaking Italian, English, and Spanish all at once. Highly recommend taking the class with her. We learned a lot.
Our instructor Alexander was amazing. He explained the steps well, was humorous and gave great history.
This was so much fun. Our chef Letizia was fabulous. She really made the excursion fun and informative. The pizza and tiramisu were delicious.
My husband and I love cooking together. We are excited to add authentic Italian recipes to our cookbook. Amazing staff and enthusiastic teaching for all ages
This was a fully immersive and interactive experience. We got to learn and make the pizza from dough right through to cooking stage. The pizza was delicious!
The chef was knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining.
It was a great way to do a local unique experience.
Nice chef! You make the pizzadough and Tiramisù in couples which would be nicer to do yourself completely.
Worst part was that the class was not in a kitchen as advertised but in a school building next door.
Fun and got to make and taste the real Neapolitan pizza. Not sure if I could repeat alone .. hoho.. and make own tiramisu.
Arrived for our class to learn they were pushing back our time 2.5 hours. They had us join a class already in progress which was very awkward for all involved, and we missed making the making of tiramisu all together. I probably would have enjoyed it had everything gone as planned, but only giving it 3 stars due to the situation.
It started out fine, but then I realized that the guy running the class was only speaking Italian. There were only 4 English -speaking people in the class and we had to keep asking him to speak English so we would know what we were supposed to be doing. We got by by watching, but it was very frustrating and rude. I’m fine with a multi-lingual class, I’ve taken several tours with different languages spoken, and they were great because the guides spoke one language, then another for all information and instructions. I ended up leaving early.
Chef Alex made this experience for us. He was so knowledgeable about the Neapolitan pizza method. He kept us laughing with his jokes all throughout our time with him and we ended the night with incredible pizzas and delicious tirimisu. Thanks so much Alex!
The host wanted to change the time which did not work for us so we had to cancel. This occurred the day before.
Marrow was fun to have as an instructor. The class was full of energy and the food was good. We even ran into others from the class the following day.
This may be the highlight of a very noteworthy vacation! Chef Lorenzo was a great teacher, he was organized and funny, and the facility spotless. We had a blast making individual tiramisu and pizza. I absolutely recommend.
It was a last minute booking. We were able to get this little "slice" of Naples in before departing the next day. Lucas was our host, we learned about making pizza, and some of the history, and heritage behind why the pizza there taste batter than at home. It was a lot of fun, informative, and heartfelt lesson from Lucas. In addition, the dough we produced will be used to help feed hungry locals. Well done!
It was a fantastic experience. The chef was patient and personable. It was nice to know how much they donated to the unfocused. The class went fast.
A lot of fun! So much to learn and appropriate for a family activity. Probably wpuld not do it with littles, bit older children would enjoy it. Some leaders were more enthusiastic than others.
Claudio was very entertaining and informative. Great teaching instincts and good timing in his delivery. This made our day.
Our teacher Alex was a very funny and interesting person. He took the time to make sure everyone was doing well and explained everything carefully. He even switched between English and Spanish to help other people! The pizza at the end was delicious and the aperitif in the middle was needed. The diploma ceremony at the end was a fantastic way to end the night.
This was a great experience and fun atmosphere. Andrew was an amazing chef and taught us a lot about making pizza Napoli.
Mauro was incredible! He made the class so interactive and allowed everyone to participate in every step. I wont brag being the only person to catch the pizza dough, but it was definitely the highlight of our night! Everything was delicious and I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a proactive and eventful few hours!
It was so much fun. The Chefs are fantastic and the location is an interesting part of the city. Go early to enjoy and walk around
We had a great time with Alex making pizza and tiramisu. He was an amazing teacher and make the whole experience very easy. Food afterward was delicious.
A fun surprisingly entertaining activity. And tasty. Claudio who lead my pizza/tiramisu making was funny and exciting.
The class itself was just ok. The pizza we made was also just ok, we felt like it could have been cooked longer. If I had a choice I wouldn’t do this again.
What a wonderful experience. We had Chef Lorenzo for pizza and tiramisu making class. I was a little skeptical when booking, but it ended up being the BEST decision. We enjoyed learning how to make proper neapolitan dough. Lorenzo answered all our questions and showed us proper techniques. We got to try limoncello and had a glass of wine with the pizza we made. Loved every minute of it!
That was an interesting experience to do the cooking. I was really happy to book it last minute and I met lots of people and was able to learn how to make pizza and most importantly how stretch the dough.
This was a really great experience. We had so much fun. So glad that we did this class. Alexander, our instructor made it fun. I'm going to try to make pizza when I get home!
Our family group of two 60-somethings and two 20-somethings all loved this class! It was great fun and we learned some terrific techniques from Alex, who also dropped real nuggets of information and history throughout. He was an excellent, encouraging teacher with a lovely sense of humour. We were also impressed by the organisation and the fact that Caritas also benefits from the activity. Strongly recommended - you won't regret this!
The only thing we thought was difficult was the location. The area was very old town and looked undesirable. But inside was bright and clean and many knowledgeable people to help with the class . Our chef was so good and helpful and entertaining- we learned so much!
