What are people saying about Milan

Worth it! The Alps are gorgeous!
The opportunity to visit the Swiss Alps and St. Moritz was amazing! The Alps are beautiful beyond words and out guide, Chiara, was the best! She even let someone borrow her coat because they weren’t aware just how chilly it can get up there! The train itself was pretty basic, no frills, but it got the job done. Tirano was just okay but we were there on a Sunday so maybe there just wasn’t a lot going on. Just know it’s a long day - about 12 hours start to finish. The bus was also pretty basic, not a luxury coach and the charging outlets didn’t work.

The Last Supper Small Group
An Amazing Must See Tour! There is no substitute for the original, and you will see many other "Last Supper" pictures in Venice, but it was fantastic to see at the beginning of our trip to Venice to see how other painters included Last Supper scenes in their works. A great once in a lifetime tour!

Great tour - worth the price for the experience
This was a great tour! It was 45 mins in total and our guide, Davide, was excellent, cramming lots of history and fun facts into his commentary. The price initially felt very expensive for a family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) but I felt it was worth it for this experience, which really is once in a lifetime. We started outside and learned a lot about the history and the building, and Leonardo's involvement. We also saw the cloisters which are absolutely stunning, and at 8.30 on a Sunday morning were empty. Note that you only get 15 mins to see the painting itself - these are rules set by the museum to help preserve the painting which is very fragile, and entry and exit is strictly controlled to stop people staying longer. It's huge, and up quite high - so although I was worried about being able to see it properly with lots of people I didn't need to and we had great views of it. The room it's in is large, and the number of people allowed in each time is very limited and controlled to only 40, so there is lots of space to see it and take photos without crowds in the way (no flash!). Davide gave us around half of the 15 mins inside the room to take photos and admire the painting on our own (the other half he explained some of the details and people to look at in the painting which was very informative and interesting), which given the short amount of time you have in there felt well balanced. Remember to bring your id for entry and arrive early. Davide was easy to find with a flag and sign, although again, the piazza was fairly empty at the time we arrived so there weren't many people. We received an email the day before with a photo of where to meet exactly, which was very helpful. I do recommend the early Sunday slot as it's nice being there before the crowds. Note that on Sundays you generally can't enter the church itself due to services, but by the time we exited the painting the Sunday service hadn't yet started and we were able to pop into the church itself to see the interior quickly, which was worth the look. All in all, a lovely tour, and a must-see if visiting Milan. Even our two teens enjoyed it and learnt something!

Must-do Lake Como tour with Antonella!
Our tour with Antonella was fantastic! She is an amazing guide and took such great care of us throughout the day - making sure our group stayed together, saw all the best view points, provided great information and history throughout the tour, and got us the prime seats on the train and ferries. There’s no way we could have navigated this day without her. She is so knowledgeable, fun, friendly and engaging! The tour was very well planned and provided the right amount of time on the boat in Lake Como taking in the beautiful views, and exploring Bellagio and Varenna. Antonella suggested a fantastic restaurant for lunch on Bellagio. Even though it was a cloudy, rainy day, we could still appreciate the beauty of the area and thoroughly enjoyed our day. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour with Antonella!

Italy’s most cosmopolitan city slows its urban pace for no one, and these Milan tours will quickly get you up to speed. Tick off highlights like the Duomo, La Scala, and Leonardo’s Last Supper in just a few hours, leaving you plenty of time to explore the city’s lesser-known treasures with a guide, join a personal shopper to browse its fashion and design, or experience the buzzy local culinary scene. When you need a break from Milan’s go-go vibe, take a day trip to nearby Lake Como or hop on the Bernina Express scenic train to the Swiss Alps.
