What an awesome tour to understand and truly appreciate parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto de Parma and balsamico tradizionale! Filippo picked us up at the train station and provided an awesome tour of Emilia Romagna’s very special food heritage. We learned so much from Filippo, he was a great host. We visited amazing small producers and learned first hand about their labor of love. So much work and dedication goes into these products that so many of us around the world cherish and love. Everything was very professional and thorough. We couldn’t have asked for more! Def recommend this tour. A great experience. Chef took care of our allergies really well, and was great with our 9 year old. She helped us cook up a delicious meal. One heads up is that the location is a little outside of the center, so plan accordingly if you don't have a car. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing in-person experience for every stage of the cheese making process!

We had a fantastic time! Would recommend to friends. It was incredibly informative and interesting. Amazing to see the production in front of your eyes (instead of all the documentaries we saw before). It's truly something else! Be wary - the smell is quite strong, a few in our group couldn't handle it and had to sit out on the tour. Tried 12 month and 30 month Parmigiano at the end with the local wine. Few negatives: there were quite a bit of organizational issues at the begin once we arrived (>30 mins waiting around). Our group was way too big like more than 20 people. It felt like it was more advertised to be a smaller group. It'd also be nice to have adult-only tours.

We did this tour as a family this afternoon and we all had an amazing time, personally my favorite thing we have done on our trip to Italy so far. Loris (I hope I’m spelling the name right) was an exceptional guide, it was so much fun viewing the entire process of the cheese making. It was very informative, interesting and fun. We did it with our two children who had an amazing time. I would absolutely recommend going out of your way to make this tour, and would recommend it for any age group. We capped it off with buying a bunch of Parmesan from the shop which we will share with family and friends along with the photos from the tour. Cannot recommend enough, absolutely worth the trip!

We had an incredible half-day experience with Eliza - she was truly remarkable. Best tour ever!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We visited small artisanal producers of Parmesan cheese and Prosciutto di Parma and loved getting to see the traditional process up close. It was fascinating to learn how much care and craftsmanship goes into making these incredible foods, and of course the tastings were amazing! Larish was a fabulous tour guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the region and its food. He made the experience fun and engaging the entire time and shared so many interesting details we never would have known otherwise. If you enjoy authentic local food experiences, this tour is a must. We loved every minute and would highly recommend it!
