What are people saying about Europe

Best way to see the Accademia
So glad we booked this tour- the skip the line part alone was worth it. The operator was very well organized with check in and we entered right on time. Our guide was fantastic- perfect English, knowledgeable, and a great story teller. All tours are done with headsets so your guide is speaking at a normal volume but everyone can easily hear. This place is BEYOND crowded and the guide made it possible for us to see all the highlights with the background and context to properly appreciate them. He also took photos for us and answered lots of questions. Once the guided portion ends, you can stay on your own as long as you want.

We took the semi private tour. Our guide Davide was amazing! His knowledge of the history of the Vatican, St Peter’s and Sistine Chapel was exceptional! It was a very busy day, but we were not rushed. Davide made sure we had the best experience at such a beautiful place. I would recommend the tour even if you are not a Roman Catholic.

Great tour of the acropolis! Wouldn’t suggest spending the time to see it without a guide.
We had a wonderful time and were super impressed with our tour guide. He was friendly to everyone and courteous to the people in the group who were slower to get up the steps. He was also easy to understand - not something that you’d think would be a problem but it is an issue we’ve had with other tour guides in the past. The whisper headphones cut out quite a bit but that certainly wasn’t his fault and he was prompt to fix them each time. He was passionate about the information which made him enjoyable to listen to and I felt like it kept my attention very well. Everyone in my group all agreed that we were very glad that we went the route of booking a tour guide for the acropolis, otherwise we’d have rushed up to the top exhausted and out of breath and said oooh pretty pillars and stones and had zero reference or appreciation for what we were looking at the entire time. The museum was nice too, granted by then we were tired and hungry and basically ready for lunch.

The meat of our trip
WalkAbout is a great way to see the rural country side and interface with local farmers, hunters and vendors. Manolo was great and the driver was quite skilled with getting the bus around. Manolo isn't shy when it comes to safety and information. Intelligent knowledgeable answers on related topics that weren't covered in the presentation showed a true depth of knowledge about the tours places. We stayed in Italy for a week and this tour was definately the highlight of our stay.

There’s so much to do and see when you visit Europe, and a tour is a great way to learn about a new city from an expert guide. These Europe tours offer everything from small-group food tours that teach you about a new culture while sampling its local foods, to Christmas market tours where you can meet local craftspeople and see cities sparkle under twinkling lights. If you are visiting during busy summer months, skip-the-line tours are a great way to see historical sights like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Vatican without braving the notorious crowds.
