Ben C. with Little Fish Tours was an awesome tour guide and shared some very insightful information about the castle during the tour. After four stops within the castle, the tour was over and we were left to explore all of the exhibits on our own. Viator does simplify booking tours, but adds another layer of cost to each tour.

This was an amazing experience, I highly recommend Stewart tours. Our tour guide was so funny and knowledgeable and the long hours on the bus went by quickly because of the stories and history he shared with us. The route was amazing, people were kind and respectful, and the bus was pristinely clean and comfortable. 10/10!

Our guide ‘Wee Davey’……multi-talented!

The tour guide Wee DAVEY was exceptional. Informative, humorous and compelling with great anecdotes. Worth the visit alone. Nice chap also very engaging with the whole group which was multi-national. Bothering to learn and remember everyone’s names and involve them individually. DAVEY was a credit to the organisation. Deserved his ‘tip’.

Highland experience

Keith was an excellent guide! He was funny, informative, and kept the group engaged throughout the tour. He was also just the right amount of strict when it came to timing—which made sure everyone stayed on schedule and we got to see everything we were supposed to. His knowledge, humor, and organization made the experience really enjoyable. Highly recommend Keith!

There is a lot to take in...

There is a lot to take in about the history of the castle. To appreciate the tour more I suggest reading some of this beforehand. Also be prepared for lots of people from many other tour groups. The guide did a good job of speaking loudly enough for people to hear but in some areas of the castle it was very congested.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

This is a great tour. It shows you beautiful scenes across the Highlands at a fantastic value. While it's a long day with a lot of driving, your driver will keep things interesting with interesting tidbits about Scottish culture, history, and the sites. It never gets overbearing, with plenty of downtime on the longer elements of the drive. Had we tried to get a similar view of the Highlands any other way, we'd have spent far more money and not had nearly as good of an experience. I'd highly recommend bringing snacks because there's a long period between the start of the trip and the stop in a village with lunch options in mid-afternoon. You'll make a few stops at particularly scenic spots, and at cute hospitality towns along the way. We took the boat tour, which was a nice, casual break in the day. A huge shout-out to our driver Brian Smith. He's extremely charming and funny with just the right energy for the tour. I've taken plenty of tours on other trips, and I think I like Brian the most of any guide I've had.

Wonderful Experience

Fantastic, It was all handled very well with just enough time in each spot to appreciate the location and get some photos. We had plenty of rest stops along the way. Felix was our guide and he was wonderful - informative and helpful and very kind. Our 5 year old grandson really took to him! Timberbush appears to run a very professional operation. we saw them everywhere across the Highlands. I actually wish we’d had more time to explore more of the Highlands- but we had to move on back to London!

As someone who has always...

As someone who has always wanted to see the Scottish Highlands, this trip did not disappoint me. It is a long day, however the bus ride was engaging and scenery was worth the drive. Our tour guide Stephen was very knowledgeable and was very clear with communication throughout which was helpful in making sure we maintained our itinerary. If I return to Scotland I would definitely consider taking another tour with this company.

This was an excellent opportunity to have a better understanding of Edinburgh and the significance of this beautiful castle. Glenn was our Tour Guide and he was entertaining and knowledgeable. After about 1 hr 30 min of interesting information we had plenty of time to explore more on our own. Would definitely recommend for a good jumpstart to your holiday.
