Will or The Absolute Best Tour Guide I Could Have Asked For

Will was nothing short of the best tour guide I have ever had. Great sense of humor, incredibly approachable, an unnervingly talented story teller, but most importantly and is what I want to give the absolute most praise here, he gives you all the facts no frills. He doesn’t dress up these stories with grandiose exaggerations he gives the facts plain as day with some humor sprinkled in to paint a picture as plainly as possible of Scottish history surrounding the castle with all its flaws and flourishes. Would one hundred percent recommend this guy 11/10.

Must do!!

This is one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. The highlands are gorgeous, one of the most breathtaking places I have been. I had Scott as my guide, and he was incredible. Even with so many people on the bus he went out of his way to make a connection with everyone. He also knew so much history and gave great commentary. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who are traveling solo.

Very interesting tour

This was a great trip! We learned a lot from guide Ewen. It was tainted slightly due to my mistake. The original tour that I booked for the 25th got cancelled at the last minute and in my haste I booked a new excursion but I got the date wrong. I had to miss the tour and rebook for the right date. It was an expensive mistake! Take the tour but make sure you don’t make a mistake.

Excellent comfy choice

We had the most amazing time with Andrew, the smartest and funniest tour guide ever met. The itinerary was very much as described in the Tour details. We visited so many beautiful places and stayed at a wonderful local B&B in Portree. We took the trip in mid-July, which was perfect for us as we don’t enjoy extremely cold weather. Most of the journey was by minibus, with plenty of scenic stops and convenient breaks along the way. Everyone in the group was friendly and kind, and the entire experience was truly unforgettable. We also learned so much throughout the tour. The Isle of Skye is simply magical—its nature and beauty are unlike anything we have ever seen.

If you’re heading to Edinburgh, this tour of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle is a must, purely down to how well it’s run.The Royal Mile gets incredibly busy and packed with tourists, but our guide navigated us through the crowds seamlessly. He was highly knowledgeable and a fantastic host from start to finish.The walk up the hill to the castle has a fair bit of an incline, but the guide was incredibly patient with the members of the tour who needed to take a breather. He didn't just stand around waiting, either. During those rest stops, he tucked us away into quiet, out-of-the-way areas and used the time to point out historical details and hidden gems you would completely miss if you were walking it on your own.He turned what could have been a tiring trek into an easy, highly informative, and relaxed experience. A top-tier professional. Couldn't recommend him or this tour enough.

We had a fantastic time on the Loch Ness tour yesterday. It was a really enjoyable and memorable experience from start to finish. The sights along on the way were breathtaking. There are more than enough breaks through the journey making it not a tiring one. A special thank you to our guide, Louise, who made the day even more special. She was so friendly and welcoming, and her knowledge of Scotland, especially the folklore and local stories, was brilliant. We really enjoyed listening to her stories along the way. You could really tell that she loves what she does.
