This experience was above...
This experience was above what I expected. Our guides, Shug and Josh, were FABULOUS! The history and their stories, and the singing, were more than I expected. They were kind, informative, on time and full of information. I truly can not say enough. I am so glad I went on this tour during my quick stay here. Edinburgh had made an impression on my heart and soul. Thank you, Shug and Josh! I hope to see you again-maybe over a glass of 40 year old Macallan. 🥃

The Highlight of Our Scotland Trip
This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip to Scotland. Our guide, Fionn, was absolutely incredible. His knowledge, storytelling, and overall presence made the experience so much more than just a day trip. He brought the history and landscapes to life in such an engaging and memorable way. Even the music he chose along the drive added to the atmosphere and made everything feel more immersive. The scenery throughout the Highlands was breathtaking, and the entire day was seamless, well paced, and thoughtfully put together. We never felt rushed, yet we were able to see and experience so much. On our last stop, we ended up losing track of time and felt terrible for holding the group up for a few minutes, but Fionn was so kind and understanding about it. It really speaks to the type of person he is and made us appreciate him even more. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy completely shaped the experience for us. What could have been just a beautiful tour turned into something really special and unforgettable. I could not recommend this enough. It was truly one of the best experiences we had.

The most outstanding Outlander tour by the heir apparent
Sean was very knowledgeable, engaging and accommodating. We were on tour busses all week long and Rabbies tour with Sean as our personal Highland protector and the captain of our conveyance was the best part of trip. Long live the "Son of a Gatekeeper "

Great time
Ross was a great tour guide! Its a long day with a lot of driving, but he balanced it well with interesting commentary and great music. Would recommend bringing a packed lunch - our lunch stop was at 2pm and was very rushed as you can take hot food on they ferry.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Edinburgh is near centuries-old castles and abbeys, scenic lochs and valleys, and many more sites that make perfect Edinburgh day trips. Get out to the Highlands to experience windswept landscapes and moody skies, and see if you can find the Loch Ness monster. Take a visit to neighboring coastal fishing villages and hear all about their history. Try some scotch on tasting tours, and get involved in some Scottish storytelling, too. There are plenty of preplanned Edinburgh day trips to keep you entertained.
