Excellent tour and guide
Gary did an outstanding job as guide/bus driver, giving a running commentary over the bus PA system while expertly driving the bus through some fairly narrow roads. We made multiple stops where we were allowed to leave the bus for close up views of various attractions for a specified period. The time allotted was well chosen and Gary had a funny way of ensuring that there were no stragglers holding up progress. There were 32 guests on our trip, but the size could be as high as 60. Because all the explanations were given over the PA system, even a group of 60 would be able get all needed explanations. The sights were spectacular and I would give this tour my highest recommendation.

Five stars: spectacular cliffs, perfect weather, and an easy day from Galway
Five stars: spectacular cliffs, perfect weather, and an easy day from Galway We took this Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher day cruise on 9 May 2026 and had perfect weather, which made the experience even more memorable. Blue sky, bright sun, and enough breeze to remind us we were off the west coast of Ireland. The ferry ride itself was a highlight. The boat made a relatively close, slow pass by the Cliffs of Moher, giving us plenty of time to take photos and really appreciate the scale of the cliffs from the water. It was awesome and did not feel rushed. On Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, there were plenty of sightseeing options. We chose to walk to the Black Fort and back, and we were so glad we did. The Black Fort felt like a hidden gem, with dramatic ocean views and an unforgettable landscape of limestone rock. On the way back, we still had time for lunch at Bayview Restaurant and sweater shopping at Aran Sweater Market, which made the island visit feel relaxed instead of hurried. This was a terrific full-day experience from Galway: scenic, well-paced, and especially memorable if you get lucky with the weather.

Best Way to Experience Galway
Sean was absolutely fantastic. The tour was the perfect mix of history, storytelling, humor, and local culture. He made Galway come alive in a way that felt personal and fun rather than scripted. The pacing was great, the food and pub stops were excellent, and Sean kept the entire group engaged the whole time. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and loves sharing Galway with people. One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland — highly recommend! Perfect as a solo traveler!

Wonderful
Absolutely amazing. The view was gorgeous, the hike was amazing, and my guide was so knowledgeable and kind. Shane made the long drive feel like an interesting history lesson, telling us the dark and beautiful parts of Irish history. He also made me feel welcome as a solo traveler and is a great conversationalist. Definitely take this tour!!!

Galway is the perfect home base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher and other gems in Western Ireland, but there’s plenty to enjoy in the city itself. Galway tours show you the town’s medieval landmarks, lively Latin Quarter, and locally-loved venues for live Irish folk music. You can even opt for tours spotlighting Galway’s traditional pubs or chilling ghost stories. If you fancy getting out of the city, simply follow a guide to the seaside villages, mountainside castles, and sheep-speckled hiking trails near Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher.
