Decided to go for this as I had time to spend and didn't know what to do. It turned out to be a highlight of my trip!! Unexpectedly fun -- the I would do the fly-through again if I could, and the history bits before that were very interesting. There's a quick and free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal too.

Climb aboard an aerial flight simulator and strap yourself in for a virtual ride over the Dutch countryside. Get the sensation of flying as you soar under a domed screen during this experience, which lasts for around eight minutes and includes special, scene-setting effects such as simulated gusts of wind.

Learn about how the Netherlands was built using land reclamation techniques and familiarize yourself with the history, landscapes, and architecture of this country. After your experience is over, head over to the Holland lounge to learn more about the country and its history.

While the show was good everything else was very disappointing. Instead of having their own space to greet customers, they share the space with hop off hop on tour company. For every hundred hop on hop off customer, there was one this is Holland. Crazy. There were miles of stairs to go up and down to be done with the show. Will not do it again, will not recommend to customers with reduced mobility

It would have been helpful to offer the audio tour in English instead of trying to watch the video and read subtitles. Also, thought it was a bit expensive. The flight part was very cool- best part by far!

"This is Holland" was one of the highlights of our visit to Amsterdam! The entire experience was incredibly well put together—from the engaging pre-show that sets the scene, to the breathtaking 5D flight simulation that makes you feel like you're soaring over the Netherlands. The visuals were stunning, and the motion effects added a thrilling layer of realism. It was both entertaining and educational, giving us a deeper appreciation for Dutch landscapes, history, and culture. So exhilarating! Fun for all age groups though not recommended for those with a fear of heights. Best tourist experience I can recommend to get a birds eye view in an hour of the lovely country that the Danish are blessed to live in.
