Excellent Retro Bike Tour!

Bike tour of Bruges in relatively small groups! We were taken on a tour by the very lovely and well informed Mercedes. I was initially a bit worried about doing 2.5 hrs on a bike when I’m no athlete! However the entire tour was on flat ground and we saw so so much more then we would ever have seen on foot. Our group of 4 got to see so much of Bruges which was perfect as we only had a two night stay! Bikes were all in great condition and we were given a poncho to wear/carry in case it rained! There are bikes/people/taxis and dogs everywhere in Bruges but Mercedes weaved us all in and out of them with ease! We even had a drink waiting for us when we returned! Excellent tour - highlight of our trip!! Well done Mercedes!

Fun, our tour guide was...

Fun, our tour guide was an excellent storyteller! We walked and stopped to hear history and stories related to the destinations. Felt super immersed in the story. Was more around 2 1/2 hours total. Wear good walking shoes as you’ll be on your feet the whole time and a warm coat!

Patrick, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of Brugge and spent time answering questions. The tour was well planned with the boat ride in the middle of the walking tour. In addition, the Chocolate sample was from a very good Chocolate store….they did not cheap out.

Beautiful medieval town

What a beautiful place Bruges is! Loved the medieval streets and architecture. Gottfried was great, though sometimes hard to hear ( headphones recommended for him). He even led me to a better quality chocolate store when I asked him. I highly recommend this tour!

Charlene was our tour...

Charlene was our tour guide. She was full of spunk and knowledge about Brugge. Charlene had a lot of fans around Brugge and was extremely caring for the group she was touring around the city. Turn up on time and look for a gentlemen with a union jack flag. Peter was wonderful told all the history with a good sense of humor. I know he repeats this daily but it seemed totally fresh. Bruges is a wonderful place to visit. Peter will give you ideas of where to visit and investigate further . and little bit of chocolate as well.

Chocolate making fun.

It is a small group of 8, usually work in pairs. Excellent chocolate making host and guide. You work standing around a table. Not wheel chair accessible but if you can manage 2 entry steps it is well worth the effort. It is 3 hours of chocolate making including a little down time to sit and listen to some chocolate making facts while your creations cool in the fridge. It was a great deal of fun.

We had a wonderful experience with our food tour guide, Artur, in Bruges! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. Not only did Artur introduce us to some delicious local food, but he also took the time to show us around the beautiful city of Bruges and shared interesting stories and history along the way. Highly recommend this chocolate making and beer tasting experience. We were running late and our hostess (chief chocolate maker) kindly caught us up. Our class was full and it was so fun meeting others. We got to make our own chocolate candies and learn about the process and beer! Our chief baker was unflappable, informative and had the ability to help us all when needed. Highly recommend.

Such a fun time! Elliott...

Such a fun time! Elliott led our class. We had a short intro about different types of waffles and then learned how to make the Brussel Belgium waffles. Each group of 2 or 3 got to make their own batch of batter, cook them and eat them. Many of toppings were provided to please the entire group. Elliott was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time!

Wonderful!

Took a little longer for the people to organize the tour group and get us on the buses, but after that it was amazing! Bruges is my favorite gem in that area of Europe. The medieval charm is second to none. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us through all the great locations with stories to accompany them. The two hour break was great to get a bite to eat and wander the streets or shop. Overall this was the best one I’ve been on. Thank you!
