So much fun, went in early November there were still a few gators before hibernation. Not to humid. Great weather. I recommend the small premium. We got to feed the gators. Definitely worth the xtra few bucks for the experience. Oh and hold on to the bars, you think you might fall overboard at first but you get used to it.

Many facts and knowledge about the area and the wildlife that lives and thrives there. Including the way the community came together to take care and bring back the number of gators in the area.

Our guide was an older woman who prayed before starting the tour. It was for protection for the tour group and herself. The tour was so informative. This was my second time doing this tour. I didn’t realize how bad the tour guide from last year was until we had Mama Nita this year. So knowledgeable! We enjoyed this tour so much (beside a downpour right as we were on our way back. We got drenched!) Can’t control nature though. Dewie was absolutely ah-mazing! We learned so much about gators on this tour. We even got to see quite a few of them while we were out there. If you’re in the area visiting, I would definitely recommend you take this tour

Fabulous Tour

This tour was excellent! It was well organized, detailed yet concise, and comfortable to take part in. Cynthia, our guide, provided a wealth of information that highlighted the areas of interest that were included. We’ve been regular visitors to New Orleans for over forty years and had already done numerous tours of the city. This one was better than any of the others! Having a guide in addition to a driver (Carl, who was excellent as well) made it possible for each to remain focused on their specializations. Cynthia’s knowledge of the city allowed her delivery to be natural and her voice quality and diction made her easy to understand….even for ol’ codgers like us whose hearing has waned. I highly recommend this tour!

Not one to miss if you’re visiting New Orleans!

An excellent day with Kate as our tour guide and Cindy as our driver. Our boat captain Dustin was also wonderful. It was a really informative trip and there was plenty of time for wandering and exploring both the plantation and Cajun Pride. In the plantation, we got to see the beautiful gardens, planter’s house and slave houses with guides who talked us through life on the plantation. On the river cruise, we saw loads of alligators (all different sizes/ages), raccoons, turtles and wild boars. Our captain told stories and jokes, then surprised us at the end with a tiny, baby alligator to hold! A truly brilliant experience.

Fantastic! Take the tour!

My husband and I did it. Our tour guide, Roy, was AWESOME! This was so informative and FUN! Highly Recommend! If you're on the fence about doing a tour... Do this one! The bus was a smaller white hotel like bus with AC (very nice compared to the walking tours)! It also allowed for a smaller group of about 20 people. And did I mention our guide Roy was AWESOME! He was professional, funny, respectful, courteous and family friendly (people on our bus had children with them). He provided a great tour with history, lure and information. 10 out of 10 Recommend!
